This is the official Facebook page of the Middletown Division of Police in Middletown, Ohio. This page was created to provide our citizens and users access to information about the Middletown Police Department. We encourage two way communication using social media. Comments posted by others on MPD’s Facebook page(s) are not to be considered the opinion of the Middletown Police Department; nor does MPD endorse any third-party comments on this page. MPD reserves the right to remove and/or block anyone who posts inappropriate material as determined by MPD. .

An internet troll is someone who posts inflammatory extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. Any person engaged in "trolling" on this or any of the MPD social media page will be banned immediately, and the comments removed.
MPD WILL REMOVE any comments that are inappropriate or offensive, including comments that: defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or violate the legal rights of others, including racism, hatred, slander, threats, obscenity, threats of violence, vulgarity, spam or advertisements, comments that have personal information about another person or that violate a person's privacy including copyrighted material that belongs to another person, or comments that contain links to inappropriate websites clearly off topic.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Middletown Division of Police is to protect and serve the public with honor, integrity, and professionalism. We shall work in partnership with our citizens to keep Middletown a safe place in which to live, work, and visit.
