5 stars does not accurately reflect how truly incredible the service was at MVH.  We unfortunately had to put down our 18 year old Yorkie at Middletown Veterinary Hospital and could not have had a better experience under such upsetting circumstances. They were patient, professional, and most importantly, amazingly caring for our little guy.

Not good my dog caught kennel cough from there. We have no other pets, he doesn't visit dog parks, and is a house dog. When I tried to schedule him for an emergency visit, they scheduled him for a week out, so I had to take him to another animal hospital, which was much cleaner and took infection control measures to ensure my dog didn't spread the germ to other dogs, as was the case with him. I will never take him there again.

I recently visited Middletown Vet for the first time! And I was truly impressed!!! From the first phone call booking the appointment, to the greeting in the lobby, the facility itself, the employees and most importantly Dr. Meg. I felt like the entire team was truly looking out for the best interest of their clients/patients! It was about a 40 minute drive from me but it was well worth it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I took my 13 year old pet Maltese to this vet because of great reviews. I scheduled an exam to make sure it was safe to administer anesthesia for her dental work I wanted to get done. Dr told me everything looks good and I scheduled her dental cleaning. Once I arrived they were extremely u organized, told me they never seen her bloodwork after I sent the bloodwork over 2x. Seems like they wanted me to pay for more bloodwork which her original bloodwork was 10 days old. They finally took her back and gave me an estimate on the charges. Both estimates where off by $110. The girl at the front desk said zoey my dog has no proof of the 1st estimate. I emailed them both papers for them to compare. Picked her up teeth looked beautiful but then there was a terrible cough following. Who ever did the surgery made her tracheae collapse. I took Zoey back in 3 days later they prescribed her meds to take. She finished all the meds and the cough is still there. Called to inform them and they wanted more money to see her and when they were the ones who caused all this headache. Great vet just seems to be money hungry so be careful .

I have a pet treefrog and recently he got into an incident causing him to need his toe amputated, and Dr. Rose did a great job in caring for him before, during, and after surgery. Great veterinarians, great pet hospital.

If you have a pet.....Take them to Middletown Vet! I will forever take my pets here and if I could I would give 10 stars. My puppy 8 months recently had to get an emergency surgery due to a Urethral Prolapse. I was super scared of the cost, because I hear so many nightmarish stories. This place has to absolutely understand and don't take advantage like most places. The cost was $2000 less than others and I cried in relief when they gave me my estimate.  They took my Major in the night before and had his surgery completed the next day. All instructions neatly printed out and easy to follow along with his meds and the staff answered any of my worried questions with kindness. I love this place and would whole heartedly recommend anyone to go.... we thank you all for all that you do Love, MAJOR

Went on a Saturday morning for an easy shot appointment. The place was completely chaotic. Way too many people and animals in the waiting area causing undue stress in the animals. Needs a much better system to make it quieter and less stressful for the animals.

I was going out of town and called Middletown Vet in a pinch.  I remember using them years ago when i was breeding dogs.  They have always been great!! Now they have a lot of upgrades.   The broading process was very easy.  Staff was very friendly and helpful.  They took great care of my dog.  I will consider using them again.

I absolutely LOVE Middletown Veterinary Hospital and the Pet Resort & Spa. The staff is friendly & always professional especially James & Susan They were so warm & welcoming when I brought my Ziggy there when he was only 14 weeks old and we’ve been going there ever since and he’s now 3 years old. I won’t take my Ziggy anywhere else. 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up

We love Middletown Vet! Our two newfie girls absolutely love Dr. Galloway, and we’re so grateful for her services. She’s warm, welcoming, and has the best demeanor for nervous pups. I couldn’t imagine ever leaving her!
