The staff was very friendly. Our room was pretty basic, but clean & the beds were comfortable. The indoor pool area was really nice. A lot of trees & plants added to the patio ambiance. We highly recommend them.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel needs major renovations. Very outdated! I booked a room with double beds and they were lumpy. Very old mattresses! The carpet is dirty and stained throughout. I thought it was a 3.9 hotel. Only reason I booked but this is really a 2.5 hotel. Plus they charged us $100 that would be held until we checked out. The only ok things were the pool and the free breakfast. It is not worth the money I spent. Terrible!! I would never stay here or recommend.
Hotel is tired and in need of some renovations. Some rooms have an ice box instead of a fridge. Barely keeps anything cold. Only one elevator was working and appears to be the norm. Pool was great for the kids and a great location.Rooms: 4/5
The hotel isn’t scary but definitely worn down. Stains on the curtains. Hairs in the bed. Loud shower and no lock on the bathroom. No microwave in the room or remote for the tv. Lobby was under reservation and covered in caution tape. Weird elevator system. The courtyard was cool.
I booked a room for our wedding night a few weeks in advance. I called to let them know we would be a late check in the evening of our stay. Thank goodness I called as they said they rebooked me at a holiday inn near the airport. Not the type of hotel I envisioned spending my wedding night. Apparently, the rooms had flooded. No one called me. We would have shown up on our wedding night and been turned away. We called back to see if there were any other options. I was hung up on. Left on hold for over 20 minutes, then hung up on again. This was on 8/19/23 and it was the manager on duty. The customer service was worse than horrible. Beware
The staff that I interacted with was super friendly and they let us extend our stay with no issues due to a family matter. The indoor pool area was really beautiful. But .. Our room didn't have a microwave which would have been helpful for leftovers. The hall floors are dirty. Visible stains. The game room is nothing. Only one elevator worked. The bar at the pool wasn't ever open, but could be used for seating. We couldn't eat breakfast because there was only one person working and they didn't have just a buffet/continental breakfast open.
FYI first time reviewing anything, but I just couldn’t let it go. We arrived late evening and were greeted with the stale, dusty, humid ac in the lobby. We checked in with a very lovely receptionist , received our key and headed towards the elevators. Our room was on the 3rd floor. From the moment the elevator doors opened, the strong smell of cigarette smoke was prominent. We also noticed that most room doors had their doors open but lights off. We found that eerie especially at 2am. We got to our room and we were grateful that it didn’t smell like smoke but still didn’t smell clean. Room was tidy. It needed rug deep cleaned and the bathroom tiles were all but 6 cracked or chipped. At that time of night we were exhausted and decided to just keep put. Went to shower and the rattling noise the shower made for 30 minutes and wait for the hot water to come on took for ever. Leaving the next morning was a fun show of adults showing their goods fir all to see, my young kids were as impressed as I was. Shame that it has gone to the slumps.
Nice hotel. Rooms weren't bad but had the air conditioning set to 60 and it never cooled down until check out. Ask the girl when I checked in for a couple of extra towels and never received them.Rooms: 3/5
The only redeeming quality of this place is the courtyard area with the pool and the location of the hotel itself to the mall, airport, and highway. This place feels outdated and has a ton of signs of just being worn down and uncared for. Our stay was less than ideal. The entire 6th floor smelled of cigarette smoke, one of the two elevators was broken and the one running was slow/unreliable, apparently house cleaning will only come every three days to the roomconfirmed at the front desk, only was given enough towels for one day, the carpets are all stained pretty badly and you can tell the bathroom was barely cleaned prior to arrival. It’s a shame, this place has a lot of potential, and it used to be a high end hotel. The staff were all great though and seemed patient. It’s not their fault this place has been neglected.
Right next to the galleria mall. The courtyard is beautiful my only complaint is that the pool was a tad cold and the bathrooms are so far from the pool. Kinda bummed we booked a room with a jacuzzi and had to change rooms cause it was under maintenance. The staff did handle it in a timely fashion, gave us a discount and a bigger room. We were there on Easter the poor employee at the front desk was very overwhelmed but he was very professional and handled everything well. The next day there was no luggage cart and one of the employees I believe a part of the janitorial staff went above and beyond to find me a cart and clean it off.
