After 10 plus consecutive years going to Millers I can say never a disappointment! Always on game and great time! The past 2 trips taking my teenage son along Chris has went out of the way to put us in great spots! Great place a Guide who does his homework and just a good dude!!
Chris is a fantastic guide and a wealth of knowledge! I was completely new to hunting snowshoe hare on our first day… but he got me on them and we had some luck. Very cool experience to watch his dogs work them and definitely a hunt that gets your blood pumping. I will be a repeat client!
We had a blast up there with our hounds. Kennels were very nice. Well kept. Lodging was awesome. It was a pleasure talking dogs with chris and running ours. Highly recommend. Thanks again chris!!
My hunting partner and I arrived @ this location in mid November of 2022 on what we were told would be a semi guided snow shoe rabbit hunt . We arrived on the evening of Friday the 18th and were greeted by Mr. Miller @ 7am the next day , Saturday the 19th at the cabin for the morning hunt . We signed the papers , paid the remaining balance of the $700.00 semi guided hunt then proceed to the nearest location to purchased our New Hampshire hunting license at a local outfit not far from the cabin in which we stayed in . Upon purchase of our license and providing Miller Outdoors with required license information we then followed Mr. Miller to his desired location of the hunt . Mr. Miller emerged from his truck and pointed to the area of woods of which we are to hunt . Thus got back into his truck and left both my partner and I on the side of the road . Neither my partner nor I were familiar with the location for it was both of our first experience in the State of New Hampshire . We proceeded to hunt but couldn’t go very far because of our unfamiliarity of the massive wooded area . We had a few runs of the Snow Shoe Rabbit but never got a glance because of the wood thickness , which was fine . We hunted for about 5 hours then got out of the woods before darkness hit . Upon our arrival back to the Cabin Mr. Miller contacted via text and asked how did we do ? We acknowledge that we had a few runs but never saw the rabbit . His reply was we see if we can do better tomorrow . Sunday morning arrives and Mr. Miller again greets us at the cabin and we follow him to his desired location for the hunt . Once again he dropped us off at the side of the road and left . We both questioned ourselves , is this the semi hunt that we paid for ? We hunted for about 2 hours , as our discontentment for how we were being treated grew . We left the woods and returned to the cabin in discuss . My partner texted Mr. Miller and expressed our unhappiness with his failure to meet the terms of semi-guided and informed him that we were leaving Monday morning with an unfinished hunt and as unsatisfied customers . We never heard back from the text nor received a call concerning our disappointment with Miller Outdoors services. The cabin lodging was ok , we did have a few runs on a couple rabbits but the hospitality and CUSTOMER SERVICE of MILLER OUTDOORS , left me with such disappointment and a lot to be desired . The best part of the trip was that we meet some wonderful people in the town via Restraunt’s and shopping that gave me a brighter and more appreciative view of New Hampshire . The funny thing is we meet a few local hunters in the same town of Miller Outdoors that had never heard of the outfit nor it’s location just 2miles down the road . In a way , I guess this is prolific enough . I am 67 years old and have been hunting for 60 years , as for hospitality and customer service this was the worst experience ever , Miller Out Doors is one outfit that I will never spend another dime with for my hunting experience .
The house is in the perfect location for a family get away and very homey! We spent a weekend there hanging out by the wood stove and snowmobiling, so far it’s the best rental I’ve had in NH and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away! We will definitely be going back for years to come! Two thumbs up and 5 stars across the board!
Clean, quiet and well located between Errol and Berlin. A plus for 4 wheelers, it's right on the trail system. Also, lots of wildlife in the area; rabbit, squirrel, deer, moose, bear.
Great guide, professional, knows the area, and had us on game in no time. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Will return for business.
Nice lodging, great guide all around awesome experience.
