So happy we chose this hotel. First off it’s well decorated and clean. Add in the extra amenities like the gym, indoor swimming pool, comfortable indoor/outdoor common areas and a wonderful restaurant and bar with unique and very tasty food offerings. Our rooms had kohler sinks and faucets which means they didn’t skimp. The rooms were laid out well and, as said before, very clean. Plenty of pillows. The mattress was just below firm too which meant we slept with ease. We left two days ago and I’ve already told 3 people they need to go to this place. Loved our time there.
The Glen House offers a premium hotel experience without being pretentious or stuffy. It's elegant, honest and humble in the most classy way possible. I spent two days here and I simply could not find any issues worth reporting. The staff, and I mean everyone, from servers, housekeepers, front desk, maintenance and anyone I encountered, was super friendly, professional and genuinely happy to be here at the Glen. The restaurant is also an absolute value! Everything I ate was prepared with care and intelligence, exceeding all expectations with each meal. The chef and their kitchen crew clearly have the talent and passion to produce delicious and creative sustenance The rooms are really nicely appointed with comfy beds and very cool artwork on the walls. The pool is a bit on the small side, but very modern and well taken care of. Overall the Glen House is a clean, high quality, well-run modern hotel all throughout. I can't wait to come and stay here again!
Fantastic hotel, great location. If your budget allows, I would recommend a mountain view room with a balcony. The food is delicious, and the view from the restaurant breathtaking. There are LOTS of walking and biking trails right from the hotel. Dogs are allowed :
We highly recommend this beautiful spot! The dinner and breakfast menus were very creative. Our room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping has exceptional attention to detail. Looking out from the mountain view rooms is astonishing even in the off season. Every interaction with the staff here was fantastic, they go above and beyond to ensure guests enjoy their time here. We will surely spend time here again in the future!
Having stayed here more than once I can say that it is a very good hotel. The location can't be beat, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. The restaurant serves up a delicious breakfast with huge portions and complimentary muffins. The rooms are very modern and clean. Probably the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are like laying your head on a cloud. I did have an issue but it was addressed promptly by management in more than satisfactory way. The staff on my most recent trip was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be returning as soon as we can!

The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the large windows allowed natural light to flood in, showcasing the stunning mountain vistas. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the Carter notch. Dining at The Glen House was an absolute delight. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable menu showcasing locally sourced ingredients. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, expertly prepared and paired with refreshing cocktails. One of my favorite drinks had espresso infused maple in it! Lastly, the hotel's attention to sustainability and environmental responsibility was commendable. I really loved how they had utilized lights that face downward to limit light pollution exposure. If you are looking for a place to stay near North Conway / Mt. Washington stop scrolling! I strongly recommend to book your stay at The Glen House hotel. We went there last weekend, after a visit to Story Land, and left very impressed. This was our first time here, and it was actually because the hotel we always stayed in downtown N Conway was fully booked. The Glen House's location is right at the base of Mt. Washington, so you get stunning mountain view surrounding the hotel. They even have an easy trail, great way to start the day! Room was clean, simple but classy layout. Mattress was so comfortable we slept really well. Everything was so clean and maintained. Price does not include breakfast but you can order at the restaurant, Notch Grille, opens at 7AM. The restaurant is honestly one of the reason why this hotel wins my heart. The food..omg..so good. We tried Lobster Risotto and Short Rib with Coconut Rice and Bokchoy and both really hit the spot. For breakfast we had Oatmeal with Banana Compote and Candied pecans plus Veggie Omellette. Service is 5 stars. Everyone..and I mean everyone were super nice. My only *ugh* moment was one of the restaurant staff who seemed to be unwilling to give us the outdoor seating, but that's it. The pool is on the smaller side but it is kids friendly. We took a dip after a long day at Story Land. Really cannot wait to get back here!
We decided to stay here last weekend to snowmobile. The location is awesome we drove about 12 minutes to Jericho mountain. The rooms were immaculate and we will definitely be staying here again. Although, the website does say trailer friendly, we had a decent sized trailer and it was very tight and we took up a ton of the open parking. If a couple more cars were there it would’ve been iffy. We were so excited to try the restaurant and bar in the hotel because the website made it look outstanding. We started with a couple drinks and they were unreal. But then the food came out, and it was disappointing to say the least. I ordered roasted cauliflower and pictured this crispy cauliflower with tasty sauce on top… instead we were surprised with 3 huge, mushy pieces of cauliflower with a sour tasting goat cheese on the side. I then assumed you can’t really mess up a burger, I was wrong. I took one bite and the meat was harder and chewy’er than a fast food burger. The fries on the side were very good though. We were so hungry still when we left we drove 20 minutes to the only place we could find open around and got a pizza. Expensive food for what it was. Rooms: Very nice and clean Safety: Very safe Walkability: Walkable if you’re walking to the hiking and walking trails. But there’s nothing to walk to from here, everything is a distance away
The location is gorgeous. Room was dirty. If you enjoy drunk, drugged out housekeeping staff puking in front of you. Not suggested. These are not allegations as you suggest. Check your camera feeds for Friday. You'll see their accurate.Rooms: 1/5
Our second visit to this property and my impressions are the same as before--just a fantastic place to spend a few days in a gorgeous setting. It's a newer property so the facilities are still in good shape. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the bar with fireplace and two story windows framing Mt. Washington--absolutely gorgeous. Decent amenities although the gym is sparse on equipment and the pool is just too small to make it worthwhile to bring you swimsuit. The rooms are clean, well appointed and all have good views although the Mt. Washington view is superior. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lobby is beautiful. Love the complimentary coffee. Great location--not near anything, which is terrific--you feel like you are at the edge of the world yet you're only 30 minutes to North Conway without the traffic. Bar and restaurant are great. Perfect place for a weekend away to decompress and enjoy scenic NH.
