I'd used red energy light for my kitchen fixtures. This dyed the globe. I'd washed and soak and scrubbed for days and sometimes over night using vinegar, baking soda, bleach, Ajax, but once I'd used them all together it was disappearing. But not gone still leaving light pink color. Visiting the Miller hardware I was saved. Spent $17 worthy, instead of loosing a chunk of my deposit for globes. I bought a mini size acetone container with a soft scrubber it pulled the wall paint up quick, yes I was desperate and end up painting the insides previously like a Polish remover for finger nails. However, the frost spray made it back new again like nothing ever happened. I'd past inspection, so I can move at peace and await out deposit to move elsewhere.. THANK YOU I also experience a year ago my exercise old iron hand weights 15pds Rusty and cracked etc. I purchased black spray that turns into rubber?! It works also and now I can keep my weights after all. I did add glitter‍
Don’t ask anyone for help, it’s soooo busy in there they don’t have the timesarcasm!!!! Truthfully I bothered the boss and he didn’t like it and I don’t like this store no more since he thinks his britches are too high for his customer,,,,,Customer service is lacking here
I called ahead and told them what I needed. Got there later than I told them I would and my stuff was still sitting there waiting on me. Once it was purchased the fella outside was SO STINKIN HELPFUL - a 10' step ladder isn't the easiest thing to strap down in a SUV but he made it work & was so funny while doing it! Muuuuuch better service than any other hardware store I've been to!
Very helpful staff. When my non-technical friend went in and said to the clerk, "I need a screw for a TV but I don't know what size" he didn't blink, found and sold us a couple options, one of which worked perfectly and did it with cheer.
Full hardware store with a nostalgic "small-town store" feel in a good way! in Winter Park near Rollins College. Staff members are very helpful and accommodating.
Old style neighborhood hardware store with helpful and friendly staff. I enjoy the small local hardware stores that are virtually the same as hardware stores were when I was a kid and found them interesting and full of tools and plumbing parts and gardening supplies and wind chimes and hats and nails and power tools and knives gloves and all that kind of stuff. Millers is like that and the only place I know that still hand cuts glass panes to specification. Support your local hardware store when you can and save a piece of American culture.
They used to be really friendly, maybe because it's a Sunday and they were understaffed, that they were standoffish? Idk, there overpriced, but they're a mom and pop place so I support them. Not a big box company kinda guy. Support local businesses! They need us!!!!
Love this hardware shop... They have it all. You can get almost anything... from gardening needs, needs for the home and home improvement/decor, as well as some unique toys. I had my battery changed from my automobile key fob. It took at most five minutes for the whole transaction. Great people, good pricing, and unique inventory. Highly recommended.
They have the most amazing variety of things that you never will find on a Big Box Store. I was trying to find an specific kind of ceiling tile, tried in every construction and hardware store with no luck, they found it and order it for me. Great people in this store, very kind and they know what they are doing.
