Walking through the front doors of the museum immediately plunges one into a journey though the past, an adventure in the glory days and historical moments that have forged what is the town of Mineola!
The long-awaited history museum in the old Post Office was "stamped" with approval by over 400 people who attended a ribbon cutting in heavy rain on Sept. 9, 2009. A decade of fundraisers, hard work and countless volunteer hours have given the citizens of Mineola a history museum they can be very proud to have in their community. Over 4,200 sq. feet of exhibits that create windows into the towns past.
