Came for the outdoor movie at the Mingo lodge and couldn’t be happier! The park is HUGE and it’s absolutely beautiful. It took us a few to figure out where to go which was irritating but once we found it, it was so worth it! The atmosphere at the lodge is so out of this world!
The facilities were nice. Comfortable temperatures and the area surrounding the facilities were well kept. Walkways were free of debris. I would recommend this to others. One note, Google maps has you turn left about 150 yards too soon. Have to continue up the road a wee bit. Restrooms: Clean and accessible.
Great place for family gathering with open space for kids away from traffic. Excellent access to hiking trails, compostable bathrooms outside the lodge. Our extended family had a fantastic time celebrating Easter and visiting for hours!
Used to hike here all the time for years! Felt Great to be back! Can't wait till all the Greenery Grows Makes it even MORE enjoyable!
Bathrooms could be a whole lot better.. but been booking this lodge for years!
Rented for a baby shower and this place exceeded expectations! So incredibly clean and just plain beautiful! The ranger who unlocked the lodge for me was beyond amazing, so polite, so nice, and so informative! 10/10 would reccomend and I WILL be renting in the future!
Great hiking trails - a little more natural than many in the area. There are some narrow passes and drop-off a near the trail edge, but the trails are in great shape. Pay attention to trail ratings to be sure you are getting what you expect. Difficult ratings mean you will be working to cover the trail at a good pace.
Cutest little place ever. I had my bridal shower there and completely loved it. It was beautiful on the inside and had plenty of space in the field for any kind of game you wanted to play. I wish I had pictures. Definitely would recommend.........
Great park. Nice trails that are well maintained.
Nice pavilion and a good location, the pavilion could have had screen doors on it to help keep air flow moving and bugs out. Needed to have a few more fans. Great outdoor space, kitchen area is small and the outdoor grills are at the opposite end of the building than the kitchen. Also the restrooms for this location are located in a separate building. Hopefully it doesn't rain when you use this facility because you will get soaked trying to get things from the parking lot to building and vise versa, and if you have to use the restroom.
