The Foundation allows businesses and private citizens the opportunity to make tax deductible contributions to maintain a mounted patrol that provides safety and security for the citizens, visitors and workers in the City of Minneapolis.
The Foundation supports the Mounted Police by providing supplemental funding for supplies, equipment, and training. They conduct fundraising and public relations events to promote the mission and values of the Mounted Police. They provide financial support to continue to provide Minneapolis with positive community oriented policing and education.
