Minnehaha Falls

Beautiful park with lots to see, especially the waterfalls. You will find many amenities at the area, like a restaurant and craft beers, as well as public restrooms and water fill stations. If you are going to see the falls, be prepared for a little hike down, but it will be definitely worth it. Getting here with a public transport was a bit of a chore, but nothing too complicated if you have some time to spare.

Last waterfall we have seen in the state of Minnesota. It was nice. It will probably be a lot bigger in the springtime with the water flow. Be prepared to pay for parking. Not that much. But there's no free parking.

The waterfall was gorgeous, however.....the park is not maintained very well and there was a lot of graffiti on the surrounding structures. I'm not from here and I was surprised to see something so pretty treated like a sewer runoff....sad, people were smoking weed and drinking everywhere, not a place I'd bring my family back to, clean it up Minnesota, take pride in what you have.

Such a lovely park just a few miles from the center of Minneapolis. There’s good parking for a small fee. You take a short walk and are rewarded with a beautiful waterfall.

Beautiful park with nice scenic trails. If you’re just stopping to see the falls, I would say probably about 30 mins should be sufficient, but it’s beautiful so you might want to enjoy the view a bit longer. There’s pay parking right by the top of the falls. Close by, there’s a stair/trail leading to the bottom of the falls. I visited Memorial Weekend 2023, plenty of beautiful views, parking, and mosquitoes .

Nice easy way to see a waterfall in an urban area. Trails and bikes to rent. Could use more convenient public restrooms. Parking is by meter at 2.25/hr. No trespassing areas may need better barriers if the baracaided areas are indeed dangerous

Love going here especially when the waterfall is flowing strong in the spring. The trails to it and around it are always fun to go on. I hope they repair the stairs going down to it on that one side soon.

I had seen a few friends post about visiting here in the past and their pictures always looked so great so we decided to check it out and it was beautiful. Fantastic views and great area.
