Minnesota State University Moorhead is home to three choral ensembles. Concert Choir, Festival Men's Choir, and Festival Women's Choir are under the direction of Dr. Erynn Millard.
MSUM's choirs each perform a variety of music styles and genres. Additionally singers have the opportunity to perform not only a cappella or with piano accompaniments, but also in collaboration with the University Wind Ensemble.
The choirs at MSUM are open to singers with any level of previous musical training. Concert Choir requires a brief audition to establish that a singer's skill level is consistent with a successful experience in the ensemble. Membership in the Concert Choir requires a short audition so establish a basic level of musical independence. The Festival Men's and Women's Choirs require no previous singing experience and no audition; singers of all ability levels are welcomed and encouraged to join.
