The food was delicious, the pastry delectable, and the service was great, but the restaurant appears to be in some sort of transition. I say this because the images on their Facebook and Trip Advisor are different from what I experienced. There was a little confusion when we first walked in as to whether we should be seated or make an order at the cash register, but that was quickly resolved. Again, the service was great. I would definitely recommend this eatery for those who have a tooth for French inspired foods.
Great Hidden Gem of a Cafe. We came here for the first time last week, they seemed a little short staffed so we came back to give the place another chance as the food was pretty good to begin with. Boy are we happy we came back! You can’t beat their prices and quality of food, the second time around it was also a different story with the staff, all inclusively a 5-Star Experience. They also have amazing pastries and cakes which we have not had the chance to try, but we used to be regulars at Ettores in Sac and this offers a comparative alternative at half the price. A+++++!
I wanna give this place 5 stars but not just yet....it needs some major improvements, with food as well as the establishment. Food was good but could be even better with just a bit more improvements. The staff was super friendly and sweet, it was her second day working and she made sure we were well taken care of. I will come back and hope they perk up the place to make it even more esthetic.
The pastries at a different approach to where are they are not too sweet but very delicious. They are what pastries should be like. The breakfast is also amazing. Will be coming back.
Delicious food, friendly & fast service. Decor on the inside is a bit bare, however there are super cute tables outside that I would’ve chosen if the weather was warmer. Come check them out! I will be returning

I love this place! The food is amazing and so are the pastries. There is a very unique outdoor area with tables/ chairs that rock- perfect to sit out there when the weather is nice. The owner, Armen, is super sweet. You can tell he has passion for creating unique dishes. I came in asking for chamomile tea and next thing I know, we are talking about experimenting by mixing various teas together. The husband and I ended up with salads and this is one of the things that make this place different. You aren't going to get typical restaurant salads here. We got blueberry and fig as well as a strawberry salad. Both of which were so delicious. I highly recommend you go here and give this place a try. It is worth it!
I’m only giving this place a one star due to the waitress who was very sweet. My sister and I came here because of the good reviews and my sister has a service dog. As soon as we walked in the manager said “no get out the dog is not allowed” we told him “he’s a service animal” then he rolled his eyes and walked away. The whole time we were eating he kept giving us a dirty look. He also checked on the other tables with a pleasant attitude but ours. The waitress kept apologizing for his poor behavior. When we were leaving I told him “when people come in with a service animal roll to be more considerate” at which point he came storming over to my car yelling. He kept saying “your dog is going to destroy my restaurant and you have to show me papers”. If he knew the law then legally he is not allowed to ask. I told him that then he walked away calling me all kinds of names. Never come here if you have a service animal or he will give you terrible service. I already reported him to the better business bureau and also to PETA. He needs to be demoted and learn the rules and how to deal with everybody and not just the older generation
Cool and casual spot for brunch or an afternoon snack. Delicious homemade benedict's and baked goodies. Not too busy, nice and cool inside or fun seating outside. If you like yummy food with a casual atmosphere this is the place!
'21/9 1st time review, but years-long customer: -- Always consistent, quality food/presentation. -- Decent menu choices for this upscale cafe with indoor/outdoor, breakfast-lunch-dinner dining and helpful/attentive wait staff. -- At time of this review, they're in the process of remodeling: while several pastry display cases have been removed being replaced by more indoor seating, we have been assured we can still custom order a lot of our favorite delectables. The two remaining cases displayed 2 types of filled puff pastries, one type cookie, 2 other types, about 5 types of layered cake slicea, and a sampling of whole, custom cakes. -- Stop by to check out the outdoor seating: unique, glide, covered, kid-friendly booths various sizes seating 2-6 per stand-alone unit. ++ Note 1: requires step up into seating, and some oomph to get it to glide. Child friendly, pleasing. ++ Note 2: While seating is wrought-iron fenced in, it is backed up to busy Winding Way with a do-it-yourself car wash beside. On weekends, this makes for a noisy background. -- Parking: very tight, small lot adjacent to stand alone building. Mobility impaired could find it a challenge to negotiate.
