Before the holiday I purchased a bedroom set at the Natick store. I usually shop at the Boston store and have had a good experience. What occurred after the sale is almost unbelievable! Furniture was in stock except for bed which was custom made. When it came time to deliver the nightstands and dresser, the dresser went from in transit to backordered till July. It took 3 weeks to find this out. The salesman would not return emails, regional manager did not either. Called corporate - total waste of time. Canceled dresser and bought one at Room and Board, delivered in 3 weeks, great experience! Now for the bed, scheduled delivery, they canceled 2 hours before. I had to reassemble my bed. Following sat, never showed up, no one picks up the phone! Get a text with the useless "I'm sorry" had to put my bed back together - 2x. Then came next day on Sunday at 7:30am with only the driver for a queen bed that weighs 400 pounds. Movers said it would not fit up my stairs and that the store was to come out an measure. NOPE! For me to take delivery The bed would have to be professionally taken apart by a furniture upholsterer and re-assembled. I had to assemble my old bed for the 3rd time! I canceled the order after 30 plus emails, hours on the phone. This is not a luxury brand anymore. I would have gotten better service at Bobs Furniture!
The delivery experience with Mitchell-Gold was the worst consumer experience I have ever had. All calls are routed to a central call center and no single person will “own” an issue and see it through to the end. We purchased a sofa, couch, and pillows in June. Delivery was delayed and when the couch finally arrived it came without the rug and with the wrong pillows. After multiple calls the rug was finally delivered - dropped in our driveway for us to carry in rather than installed as we had paid for, and no rug pad. More calls ensured. After three months from our first call to complain we finally received the rug and pad, but we still have not been credited for the return of the pillows, or the delivery charge credit for the errors. The furniture is very nice, but I would never shop at this store again due to the horrific customer service.
Their stuff is beautiful. It’s kind of expensive and delivery charge is nuts but furniture is solid and beautiful. Staff is great. I bought chairs from the tent sale today in Natick. I bought a coffee table and side tables from Burlington last time. Great store. Oh and you can bring your puppy!
I wish I didn’t buy my furniture from this store. I ordered furniture from this store in July and paid fully and haven’t received any items of my order, I supposed to receive partially my orders in August, and the rest in October. Now it’s November 13 and I haven’t even received any items of my purchased. I tried to contact the customer service several times to schedule a delivery but no one picked the phone. The designer and the store members don’t return my emails. I don’t understand why shipments of a few pillows need to take 4 months!
Always find the staff here enthusiastic, friendly & helpful. Suzanne brought lots of energy to my pillow purchase & they looked fantastic when I got home & put them in place! Good quality products with nice design.
Dave Cline at the Natick store is fantastic: very knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. He made computer drawings of our rooms to help us decide on our purchases. He is attentive but not pushy, and knows when to leave you alone to talk amongst yourselves. He also has a good sense of humor. My husband and I will return to work with Dave on our next set of furniture purchases. In addition, the atmosphere in the store is comfortable.
We found the furniture very much to our liking and received excellent advice and care from Dave Cline at the Natick store. Dave took time to listen to our preferences and to do a room plan to ensure that what we were thinking about would fit. He did a great job explaining all the options without them seeming overwhelming. We highly recommend Dave and appreciate the great service.
I’ve always had a great experience shopping here. While designing my living room, I worked with a designer, Alicia, and she took the time to understand my style and taste before making recommendations. She was both patient as well as helpful and extremely responsive. I never felt pressure to buy like you may in other stores and therefore I love going back each time.
Amy is spot on with her suggestions. Her expertise makes shopping a breeze and her warmth and kindness is second to none!! Thank you for always making my experience with MGBW always a pleasure.
Helpful, courteous and professional staff at the Natick store..A little pricey for most, but very good quality, beautiful furniture. You get what you pay for. Takes a little too long to get once you order 12 weeks which is the only reason why I’m not giving it five stars.
