I got a tent site for two nights. The office staff were very friendly and helpful, they even let me check out the spots beforehand so I could pick the one I preferred most. Most of the tent sites will give you a great view of the surrounding red rocks. They have 24h showers and bathrooms that are free to use for customers. Located a couple miles from the center of town.
I stayed in one of the cabins for two weeks in August 2023. The property and cabin are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Loved the location right in Moab. The campground was quiet at night, which I appreciated. My cabin had a queen, bed, and a bunkbed, coffee, maker, refrigerator, and microwave, small, but perfect for my needs. Staff was friendly and helpful, I appreciated the camp store, and the fact that they have ice on property.
Very clean showers and toilets. Store is very handy. Good mix of camp sites and the people working there are a joy to work with. We have stayed several times without disappointment. We even tried their cabin and ours was better than we expected. Overall very well satisfied campers. My wife and I have been camping very regularly for over 30 years and unless you are looking for the newest and fanciest place around you cannot beat the value or the service. Rooms: Cabin was clean comfortable, quiet and complete. Shower was very welcome good sized and water pressure was good. Much better than a motel in our opinion. Nearby activities: Moab is an off-road Mecca. If you aren’t into that a trip downtown gives you a taste of western life and history.
We rented a cabin for a couple nights and it was a great time. Quiet and still close to downtown. The store was well stocked and the owner was welcoming. Free hot showers were so nice after long days of hiking.Rooms: 5/5
Honestly, just shocked by how amazing this place was. When I pulled in… wasn’t much. After the check in was done, I usually do some exploring to see what I paid for. I called last minute to get this site for the night. Was able to squeeze me in. Wanted primitive, wasn’t available but an electric. $10 more for that. Sureeeee. Why not. I usually spend way to much for that. They have a dish roomfor dishes to get cleaned, clean bathrooms and showers, hose for whatever you need it for, recycling, gift shop or store open late, FREE coffee, the grass mat to sleep on if I’m a tent, provided fire pit if you didn’t have a built in pit, charcoal grills you can use if needed. I mean almost anything you could imagine needing if you couldn’t fit or forgot it. Rare find. Can bear street traffic but it was more soothing than anything. Not far from Arches and town. I will surely be back and recommend you try!
We showed up around 10pm looking for a camping spot to park our campervan for the night. This place was an excellent choice! It was extremely clean and well maintained. The bath houses were spotless. The people working there were extremely nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this spot and we will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Moab!
We pulled in Memorial Day weekend with no reservations. This was the 4th place we tried and they were able to accommodate us. We were pulling a 26ft trailer and the parked us in the back under power lines. No hook ups, next to some cargo trailers, not exciting at all but we needed a place to stay. Next day they found us a spot next to a vacant cabin that has power and water and some shade. Much nicer. Woman who checked us is was wonderful, friendly and kind. They had a well stocked shop and clean facility. Showers were free! MY ONLY COMPLAINT - was the water level in the toilets, one on the right especially was so high I had to hold my junk while sitting otherwise the frank and beans were swimming in the toilet. I'm a grower not a shower so it wasn't due to my anatomical disposition LOL. Otherwise, great little RV stop.
It is important to be mindful of certain unspoken guidelines at this campground. Despite already spending two days there, we had an unexpected encounter with a new staff member who came rushing out of the office, shouting at me for having a fire pit on the grass. To my surprise, she insisted that any campfire must be situated in either my designated parking spot or on the outside road. This rule caught me off guard, as I diligently reviewed all the paperwork provided during check-in and found no mention of such a restriction. The only fire-related regulation stated that we must utilize the provided pit and keep it covered. Seeking clarification, I approached her again and asked where it was specified that I couldn't have a campfire on the grass. In response, she raised her voice and exclaimed, "Oh, come on! Not all rules are written down." It became increasingly difficult to abide by rules that were not explicitly communicated. Additionally, the condition of the bathrooms left much to be desired. Throughout our stay, we observed the presence of hairballs and lingering slime on the shower floor for approximately three days. This lack of cleanliness was rather disconcerting. Moreover, it is crucial to be cautious of the cancellation policy at this campground. Initially, we were informed by one clerk that we would need two sites for our two cars. Since it was short notice, we reluctantly booked multiple sites for the entire week, resulting in the inconvenience of having to move each night. However, upon check-in, a different clerk informed us that we could easily park both cars in a single site, and it would be available for the entire week. Regrettably, since this change was considered a cancellation, we were unable to receive a refund for the extra sites we had booked. Despite this, they permitted us to move to the one site so that we wouldn't have to relocate every day. It was disheartening to realize that the RV park benefited from double booking numerous sites. Given these circumstances, I cannot recommend this RV campground. We had family visiting from Michigan who required a site with electricity. I would have much preferred staying at a Bureau of Land Management BLM site than being subjected to such treatment. Nearby activities: You will need to drive to nearby activities. This campground is about 2 miles outside downtown Moab. Safety: Felt safe
This site is an absolute gem! I am thrilled to give it a glowing five-star review. Not only is the backdrop of the red rocks absolutely stunning, but it comes at an incredibly affordable price. Our campsite provided us with electricity and Wi-Fi, making it convenient and comfortable. The showers, which were free for paying guests, offered hot water and fantastic water pressure. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place. On top of everything, they have a small store stocked with all the camping essentials and even provide complimentary coffee in the morning. This place truly exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic destination!
I recently stayed at this RV campground in Moab and was impressed by the stunning views and convenient amenities such as free hot showers and decent bathrooms. Although it's not located within walking distance to downtown, it was a great choice for a busy weekend when most places were fully booked. The campsite parking was a bit confusing, but we figured it out the next morning. Despite arriving late and feeling frustrated, I slept well. The locals have a great recycling program in place, and the campground is clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this campground for its beautiful views and convenient amenities.
