Riverbend Live

About

Free concerts at Riverbend Park in Winston. Friday nights in July from 7 to 9pm.

Description

The mission of Riverbend Live! is to provide for free to the general public a variety of cultural and educational entertainment that would normally not be available without traveling to a major city and paying a substantial fee. We have been providing high quality entertainment in a family atmosphere in a beautiful setting for fourteen years. Our program also includes an exceptional summer theater experience for area youth.

Riverbend Live! is a non-profit organization entirely funded by community donations. 79 sponsors came together to support the 2010 season. Of these, 16 were benefactos, 10 were major sponsors, 19 were sponsors, 26 were co-sponsors and 8 were friends.

These sponsorships, along with the "passing of the baskets" during concert intermissions, concessions, and merchandise sales, provide world-class family entertainment.

For 2011, we will continue to schedule entertainment that is free to the public and will please a variety of ages and tastes, as well as the theater project for our area children.
