I bought my first board here and the guy who helped me out was super friendly. He gave me a bunch of options to choose from in terms of boards, wheels ect. He walked me through not only the choosing of the pieces but the building of the board, explaining every step of the way. When my board needs a replacement I will be sure to come back here again.

The employee who helped me has amazing customer and goes above and beyond to help you to start your skateboarding journey. My board was custom made to my size cause I am 6'3 so he recommended a longer board. If you have any beginner questions he won't judge you and will instead answer straight up and give you tips on how to maintain your board and etc. Definitely will be coming back again

I got my first board here and for a great price! The owner was really nice and answered all of my stupid beginner questions, and my board ended up being a custom build. They had a great selection of boards and hardware, and a lot of decorative grip tape. It went from Girl to Z-Flex boards. Overall it was a great experience, especially for being my first board. I will definitely be coming back for my second board. Although at the rate im learning its gonna be a long time until my 1st one breaks.

This is the best skateshop ever! Great customer service, Great prices, Great selection and the owner is always trying to hook you up with the best stuff. I got a longboard and a hat and he was trying to get me the best stuff for the best price. He is also extremely informative, so if you're trying to get your first board I highly, highly recommend Unmodern Industries.

I use a longer board skateboard to skate with my kids as they have scooters.  These kids were leaving me behind as my board was slow.  They changed out my wheels and bearings and I was coasting with my kids at the beach that same day. Such a huge difference and now such an enjoyable experience vs huffing and puffing.  They also gave me tips on how to maintain my board.

Good place to come get skateboarding stuff I got one for my cousin really easy transaction the people that work here are super nice super friendly so hopefully the skateboard will last a long time if not I have to come back.
