The pineapple bread was fresh. The salted plums delicious. The vanilla roll was yummy. Bought an assortment of things to try, but so far all delicious. Will repeat.
Just received a gift box full of delicious pastries and sandwich. So authentic in taste, and texture is so perfect with quality ingredients. One bite and you can definitely tell the difference. So glad we were introduced to this MoMo Bakery. It tastes much better than the other big name Bakeries.
This location is permanently closed. Saw the sign saying they moved to Monterey Park. That is their second location. Although the second location is half the distance for me, I rather go to the Alhambra because the person behind the counter is more personable. Too bad.
I usually come here for the cake. They got a decent selection of cakes. Been coming here for a while and they need to step up their game. A lot of new bakeries located within this area that has boba. Overall the taro cake is moist and puffy.
Excellent!! Everything we’ve tasted was very good!
Stopped by after a local family member recommended it & glad we did! The 3 Brothers were soft, fluffy buns, perfect for snacking. Pinapple cakes were expensive over $2 each, but wrapped nicely. The pineapple jam was unique and crust had a STRONG almost too strong butter aroma. Nice for gifting/a treat, but woudn't buy for myself. Mini sponge cake looked SO CUTE, but was disappointingly dry. Beware their buy 8 get 1 free promo is strictly on bread: no cake, no pineapple cakes. They also don't make drinks, so no Hong Kong milk tea today Street parking is plentiful. On Valley in front of the store is a 24 min why 24?? loading zone
Good bakery. Cakes are fine
Nice, smaller bakery but great "Costco" styled baggedfrozen gyozas. Don't have to wait in long lines. Love their Lo Mei Gai's
I tried this place once maybe a year ago when I came to Cha Cha Chili next door, and I did not really care for the breads here. I would rather spend the time and energy to go to 85C Bakery than come here. But then my friend SZ introduced me to the pork sung buns here. There are several kinds, but there is this one kind that she buys that has this sweet clear cream filling in the middle... I am not describing it well, I know, but unfortunately I do not know what Momo Bakery calls it. That bun is what changed my opinion of this place. Before that bun, I would probably give this place two stars. But for that bun alone, four stars! There is another pork sung bun that is similar that involves green onions... that one is okay. There is another one that is just pork sung topping over a plain bread... that one is not good. Luckily for me my friend comes here often, and because she knows I love that one particular bread she will buy it for me whenever they have it available. Unfortunately, it is not always available. My point is, if you are in the area, you should stop by and see if they have that particular bread because that is their best offering in my opinion. They share a parking lot in the back with Cha Cha Chili; if that lot is full then residential street parking is usually easy to find. SZ also likes the cakes here but since I have personally never tried them I cannot comment on them. I'm happy with that pork sung bun :
This small bakery is just as ordinary as any other Chinese bakery. With no standout items or beautiful display, I hoped that the baked goods would make up for the bland aesthetics. Unfortunately, the baked goods also fell short tasting is if they were a day old.
