Monica is a self-taught artist working in Dallas Texas. As an artist Monica enjoys using unconventional materials to create both paintings and sculptures. Reusing found objects and artworks to create both evocative and transporting art work.
These works are both questioning and capturing the humor seen in the artist's life. Monica re-purposes the "trash" found in her everyday life to inspire her artwork. The "trash" is then transformed to create completely new works.
