The thing we loved most about Smokey Mountain Cakes was the outstanding customer service. My brother was awarded a scholarship through the army and we wanted to celebrate while we were all together for vacation. The owner was so quick to help us. She made a cake fresh the same day, custom decorated, and delivered our cake for us to our hotel, making the surprise so much easier to put together, especially so last minute. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing! We ordered the white chocolate raspberry and highly recommend it as well as this bakery!
We had Smoky Mountain Cakes provide the cupcakes for our wedding last weekend and we could not have been more pleased. I was nervous about working with a vendor I had no experience with but they did not disappoint. They delivered the cupcakes on time to us even though we were slightly out of the delivery range. All of the guests loved the cupcakes and commented on how great they were.
The chocolate cake we ordered for a surprise birthday party while we were in town was AMAZING! But more important than that, the customer service was the best I have ever experienced anywhere. Through several delivery time changes and even a last minute cabin change to another town, Smoky Mountain Cakes was there to quickly respond to messages and help us make sure the cake was delivered on time without the birthday boy knowing. There was also no delivery charge! No matter the occasion, Smoky Mountain Cakes will have our business whenever we are in town.
I contacted 3 bakeries in the area before our wedding celebration was planned to choose a bakery to supply our cake/cupcakes. Amber at Smoky Mountain Cakes contacted me back quickly and we talked by email and on the phone so she could gather all the information needed to make me a price on what I wanted. She was very nice and helpful and even though I was nervous not ever having tasted their cakes, etc. I was VERY PLEASED when I saw the finished product. They delivered the cake to the restaurant and everything was setup and ready when we arrived from the ceremony. It was beautiful but more than that it tasted WONDERFUL! Usually a beautiful bakery cake just isn't that good. We chose a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and I couldn't believe how good it was! Everyone raved about it that night! Thanks so much Amber and Smoky Mountain Cakes!!! You will always be my go to place in the mountains for cakes and cupcakes. And will always recommend you to others. :-
I ordered a cake from Smoky Mountain Cakes for a birthday trip I had planned. Unfortunately, we were unable to go due to a family emergency. When I contacted the folks at the bakery to let them know, they offered to provide me a new cake, free of charge, the next time I was down. I did not expect this at all, but was so grateful for their gracious offer. Luckily, we were able to get down there sooner than we expected. They provided us with a fantastic coconut cake. And they even offered to deliver it to us. It was absolutely delicious. It was moist and rich and packed with coconut flavor in every single bite. This bakery won me over with their customer service and sealed the deal with an amazing cake. I highly recommend them for anyone who has a special occasion while visiting the area. But really, you don’t even need a special occasion cause their cake is a special treat all by itself. I can’t thank them enough for being so helpful and making our trip that much more special!

Amber and the team at Smoky Mountain Cakes are so amazing! Their work is so beautiful and they are so professional. They made our day so amazing with our wedding cake, and I couldn’t be happier with how it looked AND tasted! Amber was so amazing with answering my questions in a good and timely manner, and each time I went by the bakery, the staff was so sweet and caring. 20/10 recommend Smoky Mountain Cakes!!
Highly recommend to anyone wanting or needing a cake. I ordered my wedding cake for my Gatlinburg wedding from Smoky Mountain Cakes and it was perfect! I live in Ohio so all communication was through email and phone. I wish I could post a picture of our cake and the picture I emailed to them....they were identical!! I could not have been more pleased with it! Beautiful and delicious!!
