Dance, Movement and Arts Classes for all levels and ages of students, beginning to advanced, for exercise, body-mind harmony, alignment, and ease of movement.
The Movement Space, in its 23rd year, offers classes that combine Ballet, Modern & Improvisation for children of all ages as well as Parent/ Child classes for the very young.
The Movement Space has a Senior Dance Company ages 9-13 years and a Junior Dance Company ages 6-9 years. The companies of performers present works choreographed in collaboration. Company members are dancers who have an interest in performance and choreography.
In the summer and for School Breaks, the Movement Space offers an Arts Camp for children ages 3 to 12 years.
The Movement Space is also available for children’s birthday parties.
The goal in our classes is to discover movements that come naturally to each individual and then to build strength with alignment and technique.
