"Montgomery County Food Bank’s mission is to unite the community to fight hunger. In 2021, we were able to provide over 9.6 million nutritional meals through our vast network of over 70 partner pantries, local school districts, and community partners. We work in partnership with retailers and wholesalers to provide a solution for food waste by rescuing food that would otherwise go to the landfill. Our vision of a community where everyone has access to sufficient, nutritious food is possible through the support of our volunteers and our community and corporate partners.Montgomery County Food Bank is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, partner of Houston Food Bank, member of Feeding Texas and distribution partner of Feeding America."

The new lady at the front desk was so rude to me. I love this place and lori is a sweet heart. Tho, since I am there on court ordered community service. The lady at the front treats me different than the regular volunteers. As I was leaving, their were two regular volunteers asking questions.I patiently wait my turn to ask a question, when she gets to me she goes “Next time you need to ask a question, you ask before break”…….One, I am not a child so there is no need to talk to me in a childly manner. Secondly, she was perfectly fine when everyone in front of me asked a question. The people behind me saw how she behaved and said “yeah she gets snappy”……what a shame.
They were rude and completely unhelpful! Wouldn’t tell me where I can get food until 2 weeks from now. Ok, what does my family eat now!! I think someone is keeping the money!!
I delivered here and they are very nice and professional. In and oit wothin an 1 hr. and a half. I parked overnight across the street from the building and got in early in the morning. Just make sure not to block the trailers there because the yard dog moves them in the morning.
Montgomery County Food Bank is an incredible place to volunteer. The staff is very welcoming and really lets you know how your efforts help those in need of food assistance in Montgomery County.
These people do great things and they rely on volunteers to help do them. A very clean, very well run facility. Go volunteer. It will make you feel great and you'll help families in need while feeling good about yourself.
Great place to volunteer! They need help sorting and checking expiration dates, you can work in cold area bring a jacket or dry goods and it is fine print so some may need readers for that.
I was lucky to get a tour of the facility this week. What the Montgomery Food bank does is amazing and the way they help the community is awe inspiring. I highly recommend that everyone donates to this great non profit!
The Ark church sponsored a food fair this past Saturday. It was so well organized and they had lots of volunteers. The best one ever. Thanks to The Ark church and Food Bank to help people in need. What a blessing.
Horrible place, this lady Betty Baldwin is nasty, unprofessional and a liar. Illegally had paperwork signed that should have been signed in some sort of orientation. She's too old to properly run and have the proper attitude she should carry.
Never realized how much The Montgomery County Food Bank actually does. They are are home for first responders, and so much more. Distributing food to pantries all around Montgomery County. Thanks to Rodney and the team for taking us on a tour!
