Mark and his entire team did a fantastic job with my moms funeral arrangements. I could not have asked for anything better, every detail was handled with professionalism. The ambiance of the funeral parlor, the planning of the service and most importantly the execution of the entire day was perfect. Thank you for making the day special. Your team did an amazing job.

We were very pleased with the service provided by this funeral home. We anticipated a very grueling day planning my dad’s funeral but Mr. Rago was like having a friend help you plan. The service was beautiful. Everyone was professional. The site is immaculate. They took care of details that we did not have the presence of mind to think of, and referred us to vendors that were just as easy to work with. I never felt like we were treated like a customer but rather like a neighbor. Thank you for bringing us a little bit of comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

My family has used Monti Rago for years. Mark Rago was so helpful to my sister and me when we were planning my mother's funeral. He gently pointed out what might be a suitable casket which was not in the higher priced levels. My mother had a most debilitating final illness, wasting away. Mark and his staff made her look like she did four years earlier. They were similarly helpful and professional with my father. In the spring I attended a viewing there, and the deceased's family was very pleased with the considerate service. From reading some other reviews, I can only surmise that some persons who come to arrange a funeral have no idea what decisions they have to make, nor how much it will cost. It is a stressful time, but in my experience if you treat Mark and his staff as professionals, they will be most considerate.

Mark Rago was the funeral director when our Dad passed away. My Dad was sick for a few years and was emaciated at the time of his death. What Mark did was nothing short of a miracle. He brought Dad back three years in time when he was vibrant and handsome. The accommodations were wonderful. The funeral parlor is newly renovated, tastefully decorated, and the rest rooms were clean and neat. My Dad was 96 and an elevator was an important feature for our elderly family members and friends. Mark suggested a place to have our pictures put into a video. The video was professionally made, and the video could be seen on three cameras, which included the basement. In fact, Mark made excellent suggestions for things we did not think of. At all times, Mark and his staff were sympathetic and accommodating. Although Dad was a stranger to them, they could not have been more respectful of him and of our feelings for our loss. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Monti-Rago Funeral Home to anyone. In fact, I have a terminal illness and have already contracted with Mark to take care of me when God finds room at the pinochle table.

Feeling so sad and confused planning a funeral for a loved one is so hard. I did not know where to begin. Monti-Rago Funeral Home we’re my life saver. They were very patient and understanding! Gave me so many ideas so I didn’t have to think of what to do first. They were so comforting, making me feel like a part of their family. Fantastic people! Everything was done professionally. Monti-Rago Funeral staff, Mark and Nick, guided my daughter and I through the funeral process. From service, obit, restaurant for repast, flowers, and more. I needed help and they were helpful. Thank you. It is an awful time in a persons life to put to rest a loved one. They made it somewhat easier by helping us through the process, they asked the right questions and listened to what we had to say. The place is clean and well kept, safe and the service was lovely. I don't understand why they would have anything other then 5-stars. Thank you Monti-Rago for all your help.

The staff at Monti-Rago are amazing. They are professional and caring to their clients. They have provided excellent care and selfless service for many years. They have always made my family feel at ease during our hardest times.

I've been to a lot of funerals unfortunately. With a large friend and family base there is no shortage of events we have to attend. I've seen a large population of funeral events, homes and operations. I can honestly say Monti-Rago has by far the most class and is the best run operation I've experienced. I've been to 2 events here. First off the funeral home is spotless, the decor is contemporary and it is polished. As a photographer and designer, I'm extremely detail oriented and I will tell you this funeral home is impressive. Not only is it gorgeous, it's big! I can't tell you how many places I've been where everyone was jammed into low-ceiling small rooms. Not here, everything is spacious and the family and guests are given every consideration to make them comfortable. Well lit, easy in-and-out routes, no confusion, TVs with sound all through-out the building for guests to view photo slide shows or movies the families may have prepared. They have lots of assistants providing guidance to every guest making it easy. And the deceased looked amazing both times. The makeup and clothes were superb. Let's move to the external activities outside the funeral home. These guys know the business. Everything is choreographed beautifully to the families wishes and direction. And if you don't know what to do, they do and can provide suggestions. Everything from food, limos, cars, church, grave site, etc., is handled extremely smoothly and without concern. They know every aspect of this business and how to make it a perfect event. The family is guided gently through each step in the process gracefully and with care. Even though Monti-Rago is out of state for us, my wife and I will use them for our funerals. I can't say enough of what a great job they did. Again, we went there twice over the course of 3 years and it was impressive both times. Monti-Rago is to the funeral home business what the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons is to the hotel industry. Exemplary.
