They make it seem like they care. They charge you outrageous prices for your deceased and add a bunch of things on there to hike the price even more that insurance cant pay for it. Lastly, they dont wven give another family memeber a chance to pay off the fee jist let it sit there unpaid causing problems. The worst other than losing my love ones i wish i never went to this funeral home Ive been to others with no problem. The one that has been the best was GOLDSTEINS ROSENBERGS RAPHAEL SACKS.

I've had the honor to work with this amazing funeral home on several occasions and the attention to detail and care they show is second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to allow them to plan for my loved ones.
We used Meachem 2 years ago when we lost our father. They arrived to the memorial late with an empty urn citing they forgot to give us papers for the cremation so the cremation was done too late. Everything besides that was okay so when we loss our mother at the beginning of the month we decided to give them another chance. MISTAKE!!! I called them on a Sunday night to tell them of my mothers passing and they called me back to tell me that they were going to get her body from the hospital. TUESDAY they call me to tell me there was a problem. I tell them to call me once they had my mom in their possession.... negative. I had to call THEM after hours of hearing nothing. We met with Wendy who I found out was the supervisor. Her customer service was terrible. After not hearing from them from DAYS I called to find out what was going on and she told me she wanted to explain the cremation process with me and my mom wasn't the only one being cremated. Who wants to hear that while they are mourning, especially when you were told something completely different at the meeting. Someone else had to get on the phone and apologize for her rudeness. She is very unprofessional and in the wrong profession with an attitude like she has. We sent pictures that we wanted on the obituary labeled how to be placed as they asked, and they still did it WRONG. They did it the way they wanted and that was after sending it back to them about 6 times for correction. They called me at 1:38 on Friday and told me they were picking the obituaries up at 2 and they would be there until 4 and asked me what time I could pick everything up. I told them I wouldn't be able to make it by 4 and asked what time they would be there Saturday so I could come get everything and they stated they were closed. I left work early and went to the funeral home SMH they STILL didn't have everything together. And the memories book that they charged me $100 for looked like a pamphlet that a child would do in art class. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER use them again. EVER!!
The entire staff was professional, responsive, patient, caring and compassionate. They handled it all with care. They made a difficult, painful process into an experience that made me and my family feel at ease.. My mother was beautiful and the service went without a hitch. Exceptional service!
I was very dissatisfied with the funeral service I attended on Wednesday. The funeral home was late with the body. Viewing was supposed to start at 4pm, they didn't allow anyone in until 4:30. What made it was, is when the funeral director opened the door, he didn't even acknowledge anyone to let them know we can enter the church. The program was incorrect, and the wrong birthdate was place on it. I would not recommend them to handle your loved ones.
I attended my Brother's home going service on 11 /12/21. No seating for his Sisters at all half of us wasn't even in the FUNERAL Home. On top of that they laughing at people who was Grieving and through the whole Service. 4 FEMALES in the front row laughing as if this was some kind of JOKE, When it was their Father... How EMBARRASSING & DISRESPECTFUL... WITH my brother laying there is No Joke. Who does that ? His 5 Sisters wasn't even mentioned. I hope those laughing FEMALES see they EMBARRASSED themselves and the WHOLE FAMILY... HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU LAUGH THOUGH YOUR FATHER'S WHOLE SERVICE, I NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE... The service and attention given is above and beyond. They are youthful creative and awesome in their presentation of everything. My aunt's homegoing service was Epic because of Meachem's staff. They crowned her a queen and treated her as one. I highly recommend them. Their prices are affordable and their skills are outstanding.
Last year my oldest son took his journey home.His godmom put me in touch with this funeral home.This was the hardest lost of my life..But the people at Meachum made things easier on me..Since than ive held my auntie and great uncle services there..i feel as if they are family now..I truly love Meachem and Prioleau!!!!!!!!
Definitely satisfied with the service I received. Highly recommended. It was very hard to bury my son. They do all the work and come to you.They are sympathetic and caring.
