Lee from Arlington Cemetery helped us through the logistical process of the burial as well as picking out a grave marker. The passing of my father was unexpected therefore so many decisions needed to be made quickly. Her expertise, kindness and honesty helped to ease the sadness and uncertainty during this unfamiliar situation. My father had purchased the plot years prior and had given some instruction for his burial. Lee guided us to the make the best decisions that worked well for our family and kept in line with my father's wishes. We had all of the services at Arlington Cemetery. The memorial service was held in The Williamsburg Chapel. It is so beautiful yet simple and filled with incredible light. I was proud to greet my family and friends at this lovely location. After the service ended, we went right to the grave site for the internment. We didn't have to think about a single thing the day of the funeral. Lee and Arlington Cemetery took responsibility for all of that. All we had to do was show up. If you want to feel taken care of, supported and receive outstanding service for the cost; contact Arlington Cemetery. They will ensure you get exactly what you need all while honoring you and your loved one's wishes.
Arlington Cemetery did a wonderful job with my Dad’s funeral. The staff was incredibly kind and sympathetic. They are incredibly knowledgable and efficient and made the process as simple as can be, so we could focus on grieving as a family. Joan is a stellar funeral director. She is incredible to work with. She is warm, had an answer to every question we had and was appreciative when our family relied on sense of humor to get through the process. Lee was also incredibly warm and supportive. The entire staff is just great. This was a sudden death, so this all happened so fast. Arlington Cemetery made the trauma of it all much easier. I highly recommend their services.
The Maxfield family wanted to visit our family gravesite together this past weekend. It had been years. I called the office to find the location. A lady who answered the phone was very helpful telling me she would have a Lee Petzelt be in touch. Within minutes Lee sent me a map with the location, informing me of the entrance to take and the route. Separately the following day my brother went to the office requesting the same information. Well, Lee was there stating she would escort us personally which she did. Lee was courteous, took time walking the general area with us to find the site. We so appreciated such fine and extensive service. Thank you Lee, you are an exemplary representative for Arlington Cemetery.
Researching burial suggestions at Arlington Cemetery was a terrific experience. Richard gave me useful information as well as interesting historical facts about the grounds. He knew I had a budget in mind and did not push me to spend more. He gave me affordable options and took the time to personally show me each available option. I have worked with the staff of the cemetery for other reasons and have found they are always professional, compassionate, and trustworthy. I highly recommend using the services of Arlington to guarantee future peace of mind!
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. So glad that we made the decision to go to Arlington Cemetery. And more importantly, that Anita was our contact person. Anita held our hand every step of the way. She was patient, responsive and would even let us know when she would be out of the office. It took us a year to pick a plot., the stone and then intern our brothers ashes and all through this period Anita never left our side. The day of the interment she was onsite making sure everything from the priest arriving to taking videos of our balloon release was captured. What was a very hard time in our lives was made easier by Anita. We are forever grateful. I highly recommend Anita and Arlington Cemetery.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Anita at Arlington Cemetery. She is knowledgeable, helpful and was a great resource person for family. She made sure that the burial at the cemetery went smoothly. She also helped with the VA paperwork needed for a footstone. The cemetery is well kept and highly recommend working with Anita and using the Arlington Cemetery
I would like to thank Anita for her help in making sure everything went well for us at my Sister Joann’s funeral. Since her daughters and nephew were coming up from Florida to bury their Mothers ashes it was up to my daughters and I to make most of the arrangements. After a few miscommunications we connected with Anita who took over and resolved some issues for us just in time. Every thing turned out beautifully that day even the weather. We are very thankful that Anita stepped in and resolved all our complaints.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Anita was our contact person, and she was so helpful every step of the way. She was highly culturally sensitive and caring. We are forever grateful!
Arlington Cemetery looks really clean from out side as well as i seen it from inside. I went there twice sometime ago, a friend of us was laid to rest in this cemetery. I would give 5 stars reviews with location and maintenance friendliness.
I originally contacted the cemetary to clean up my father's grave from 55 years ago. The last time I had been there, the grave was hard to find under a bush. Darlene, the receptionist, and Mr. Joe Lucci were helpful and kind. They exceeded my original expectations. Mr. Lucci was thorough and had excellent follow up customer service. Thank you Darlene and Mr. Lucci.
