A group of us came to town to visit a friend, and she organized a lunch for us at this establishment. Initially, it was pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the view of the harbor. However, from that point on, our experience took a downhill turn. While the service was friendly, we were dismayed by the nearly one-hour wait for our food to arrive. The sangria we ordered was alright. Although the food itself was good, it simply wasn't worth the hour-long wait. To their credit, the staff did apologize by offering a complimentary drink. However, they only comped the drinks for five of us, leaving three of us out, which felt unfair and left a negative impression. Furthermore, we found the prices to be on the higher side, considering the overall experience. Given these factors, it's unlikely that we will return to this place when we are in town again.
Lindsey at Morso was so generous in accommodating my 98 year old father! Food was great, atmosphere perfect, we will definitely return! Thank you Lindsey!Food: 5/5
Had the pleasure of tasting some amazing appetizers at an event this last weekend. The food was wonderfully presented, mouth watering and the chef was so very friendly. Would recommend for catering needs and can’t wait to try out the bistro!
Morso never disappoints. Good food, good wine & cocktails & a fantastic view. A favorite spot to stop in for a glass of wine or meet with friends.Recommended dishesSeafood Chowder
Beautiful restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating and views over the harbor. Full bar with an amazing selection of wine, most reasonably priced. Food is fresh and flavorful with a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Outside is open and lively while inside is cozy and warm. Friendly and helpful staff.
RAINY DAY VIBES - @morsogigharbor was full of comfort & warmth on a rainy #gigharbor day. We had beet salad, salmon cakes & orecchiette & sausage pasta. Each dish was put together with care and flavor & it was obvious the same care was taken with the wine list & wine selections. We chose the @latta_wines Latta Latta GSM because I’ve been obsessed with #GSM blends since our trip to #pasorobles & because Latta wines came highly recommended. It did not disappoint: floral, fruit forward with a little pepper/smoke on the finish. - The Salmon Cakes were fried perfectly and served with fresh dill and remoulade that surprisingly paired perfectly with the GSM - Beet salad was DELICIOUS - A flavorful vinaigrette with creamy goat cheese. Wonderful textures & flavors - Orecchiette & Sausage was the star of the show. Perfectly cooked pasta with sausage & kale that was The best pairing with the GSM Fantastic experience and we came home with some selections from the wine shop as well! Will definitely go back whenever we’re in the area! & they we’re bumping throwback @janetjackson
Great food and service that brings a crowd throughout the week. The menu items are prepared and presented excellently. For a wine bistro, the wine list was mediocre at best. There is a "but", however. A market room in the bistro has a very credible selection of old and new world wines that you can purchase to be served with your food selections. The beer offerings are adequate with several IPAs to choose from. If you are UP or north end, pay the toll. A must try for all generations.
I tried the salmon cakes and they were so good! The staff was very kind and I got seated right away at the bar.Food: 5/5
I love to take my mom here and sit outside. They have a great wine selection, appetizers and the view of downtown Gig Harbor is fantastic.
It was a very cozy and inviting Place very clean and well-kept the bartender he was excellent they were short-handed he waited on tables as well as did the ba. He did an excellent job. He cater to everyone you wouldn't even know that there was only one person working on the floor. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection .The appetizer he recommends was very very good and the wine I had a $5 a class and it was a Sunday special it was an excellent red wine. The cafe had a beautiful view of the harbor I would definitely recommend this for anyone as a family as a couple or solo it is a very nice setting.
