Just a totally relaxing, well served, fully flavored evening. We were able to snag an outdoor table on a clear slightly breezy evening. Drinks came timely, then the wilted arugula salad, perfect. Oh, even the bread was satisfying! Then, the chickpea crusted halibut and braised short ribs floated into our view. Oh, man, they were both perfectly prepared, and we had to breathe deep to slow down and enjoy the perfect mix of flavors. We look forward to the next time! If you haven’t been, go for the first time, you’ll be amazed
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Brix 25 was fantastic all around! Ambiance is wonderful, attentive service, well balanced cocktails, and delicious food. We enjoyed the Pear Old Fashioned, the Pear Pinch, and their version of an Irish coffee! The pork shank with noodles fell off the bone and had a rich flavor. Both appetizers were full of flavor and we ended the night with the carrot cake! Oh….you also start your experience with complimentary sparkling wine! If you haven’t been….make a plan to go!
We had a tight schedule, and they were able to get us in slightly before our reservation. There were quite a few loud, difficult customers, but the staff handled every one with grace and aplomb. The food and cocktails were phenomenal, and the service was wonderful. Will definitely go back!Food: 5/5
Excellent venue for an intimate or bar gathering. Chef is very skilled and created some nice dishes, one of which i plan to co-opt Lamb chop with paprika imfused pasta with a Marinara sauce with ground meat We mainly went there to try the aged beef "cowboy" steak basically a bone in Rib Eye steak medium, with an average weight of 2lb, it fed all 4 of us in addition to the Salads and bread, as well as the Lamb dish. We got mixed drinks, olive martinis, and pina colada -- made perfectly by bar tender ... great ambiance overlooking the southern portion of Gig Harbor. Noise level was low, but then, we dined Sunday at 4 pm. Very popular spot, so res is rx. Fairly priced compared to similar restaurants that serve aged beef, great service and great views, safe location, validated parking @ Arabelles Landing or convenient and close street parking ... made for an all-around great dinner.
We were visiting my boyfriends aunt out in Gig Harbor, and for such a small town I wasn’t expecting any great restaurants. But I really enjoyed this place, his aunt said it was her favorite restaurant in the area. The seafood was so fresh and everything was cooked to perfection. Sad that we didn’t get to try some popular appetizers because they were sold out. But the octopus was my favorite appetizer, charred to perfection and the potatoes are a great addition. For the entrees, the mussels were one of my favorites because of the sauce and the noodles, wish we got a lil more noodles tho. The tomahawk of course was HUGE, although we shared all of this food between 4 people. Overall the service was great and the place had very cozy vibes.
Brix’s is a comfortable, harbor-side, low key and elegant fine dining experience. They have a nice variety of entrees, appetizers and starters with prices from $19 to $89 for entrees; with the mid-point about $30. We also appreciated their dessert selections. They were very busy, but service was attentive for a fine dining establishment. You can find a cocktail or wine you like, a nice variety of choices and you will have a very enjoyable experience. We will be back - and have added Brix to our favorites list. We didn’t park on the street , but around back in the Annabel’s lot. Free when you get your validation ticket.
Dining at this restaurant was a fantastic journey starting with the free glass of champagne as we sat down. The service team was impeccable with everybody helping each other to make sure the customers were taking care of. The decor was a freshened up crisp version of a beach house. I tried two different gin drinks both unique and fresh. My husband enjoyed his perfectly executed old-fashioned. Every dish we tried had layers of complex flavors and textures. Some of which you wouldn't think go well together like the grilled octopus with potatoes or the sauce for the steak that seemed to be almost African inspired with a hint of cinnamon. The pickle the vegetables had a great presentation with a sauce that was so complementary and elegantly presented I would take that over a salad any day. The carrot cake was decadent and moist with the opposing texture of candy carrot on top that this was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. This will be on our list for a top go to restaurant for special occasions. Heck, I think if I live closer I'd just go there all the time!
Beautiful ambiance as the space feels like a modern farmhouse. The wine selection is fantastic and the one recommended by our waitress was one of the best values this year. Food is fresh and flavorful and the choices are plentiful. They have a limited vegetarian/vegan menu but what we had was great. One star less for the eye-watering prices. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.
We loved our experience at this restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered the steak tartar, thai larb lettuce cups, cast iron fondue, and the bread and butter. All the appetizers were delicious! For main courses we ordered the filet mignon and the spicy thai curry mussels. The steak was cooked nicely, but the mussels were good, but not our favorite so we'd probably choose something different next time. For dessert we ordered the chocolate creme brulee, which was very good and not too sweet, which we really enjoyed! We also had the double dark chocolate brownie, which was amazing! We added a scoop of vanilla icecream to the brownie dessert and it was divine. Our server Lindsey was incredible nice, knowledgeable and accommodating.
We came here for Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing! The food was great and well portioned. The staff was also so friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back again.
