Sat in cordoned off area of parking lot with friends who wanted to eat outdoors. Happily few vehicles entered the lot while we were there. My brie and mushroom filled 3-egg omelette was delicious and the accompanying waffle was crispy and not sweet. The hash browns were of the somewhat greasy shredded potato variety, not my favorite. One of my friends had the lox and cream cheese sandwich on a waffle; reportably rather different from a bagel but still tasty. Another enjoyed the Giant Panko Fried Chicken Waffle which was stacked so high, he had issues figuring out how to eat it, but he happily finished every bite. Another really liked her strawberry lemonade and another happily drank his unsweetened ice tea with endless refills.
A hidden gems here in Rockville. Everything was good but, the waffle. We did not like the waffle. It has a strange taste. The beignets are pretty good! The potato hash was "ok." Staff are very nice and welcoming. The restaurant itself it nicely set up.
The ambience is great; they have a lovely space. I, however, just wasn't a fan of the texture of the waffles. I also had the Jamaican Rum Coffee which wasn't my favorite. The breakfast options are really good value for money, though.Food: 3/5
I came here with my friends on my birthday. We ordered breakfast mosaic and the waffles were absolutely delicious. Also the hush brown are the best and the eggs were extremely delicious. After that I ordered a chocolate waffle and they surprised me with a candle and when the waiter lit it and it lit up and it looked like a firework. If I’m being honest celebrating my birthday here is the splendid idea I’ve ever had and I recommend it for others and they had the best service ever.
Very good food and great service. You have to try the waffle sandwiches. I got the Panko fried chicken and the waffle was too big. But the other waffle sandwiches on the table were easier to eat. I still enjoyed my sandwichFood: 5/5
Maybe it was our fault that we arrived at 4pm and expected breakfast although they did advertise breakfast until 6:00pm. We were the only patrons so they were very attentive they suggested we order the Mosiac special which consisted of their version of French Toast and waffle too dry and very crunchy scrambled eggs.delicious , hash brown ?, sausage warmed up from earlier in the dayand bacon decent. We also had happy hour croquettes nice flavor needed to be cooked a little longer, wasn’t cooked through and through The Peach Bellini wonderful. Overall wasn’t pleased, but we visited because of the 4 star rating… maybe they were off their game yesterday?
Came here for lunch Sunday. Food was okay but the service was not great—it took a while before our food came out, and the entrees came out way before the soup and salad. Then they forgot one dish, and throughout the meal, our server kept saying she would “check on our dishes” and disappear. I would recommend the Steak Pomme Frites—it was well marinated. The Mosiac Omelette was good too.
We ate indoors due to the rain. It was a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious! We went during brunch hours. Parking: There are parking spots close to the restaurant and around it.
It was just okay. The waffles are their main menu item. They use them in so many of their dishes. And they just aren't great. Mine was a bit too salty, and very dry. The texture is closer to a puffed rice, almost. Just wasn't enjoyable for me. Their potato hash was okay, but not exceptional. The chai latte I had was really good though.Food: 3/5
Came here on Christmas Day to celebrate with my grandmother, dad, and brother. We really enjoyed the lamb quesadilla and the duck rolls. The rest of my family got either the eggs Benedict or an omelette and enjoyed their meal. I got the Giant Panko Fried Chicken Waffle. It looks huge, but the taste left me wanting. The breaded chicken was very thin and the waffle was too large, crispy, and bread like to enjoy and eat as a sandwich. It literally shattered into pieces as I tried to bite into my sandwich… It’s weird too me, I believe the waffle is their speciality, but it’s the main thing I couldn’t get behind.
