Mosquito Mud Pottery was founded in 1998. It is featured in over 80 retail galleries around the country. As of August 2012, Mosquito Mud Pottery is under the new ownership of Saverio (Sam) Costanzo, Sarah Costanzo, Jessica Jean-Pierre, and Frisner (Junior) Jean-Pierre. They are a close-knit family of artists who are passionate about American handcraft. Their love for pottery was discovered during college when Sam studied studio art and became an apprentice to the head ceramics professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University. There he learned how to run a studio and create production quality pottery with artistic flare. He realized that pottery was something he'd like to pursue full time and started Palm Beach Pottery with his wife Sarah, sister Jessica and brother-in-law Junior. They were featured in several high end restaurants in the Palm Beach area and began doing local craft shows to showcase their work. After getting a great studio space in downtown West Palm Beach, they met Jennifer and had the privilege of becoming the new owners of Mosquito Mud Pottery. They worked with Jennifer to learn the ins and outs of her designs and to produce the same quality workmanship. They will be expanding the line to include new glaze options as well as some of their favorite and most popular styles from Palm Beach Pottery. They are looking forward to an exciting and successful future with Mosquito Mud Pottery!
