Moss Rose Bakery

I was driving through oakdale yesterday and was starving and didn’t want fast food. I popped into this bakery hoping to grab a fast lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at how much was included in the lunch meal for a very reasonable price. I was most delighted that the young lady made the sandwich so fast sometimes these boutique places take a really long time to serve you. And then it was on such delicious fresh baked bread. Highly recommend! The Mexican Wedding cookie was fabulous

The best cinnamon rolls in the area! Baked in their own brick oven over 100 years old! Possible the oldest working brick oven in California.

This is a legendary local shop. A good friend mentioned it to me 30 years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. The turnovers are my favorite, but I recommend sampling all of the baked goods.

Found this place by accident. Bought the last 2 day old Danishes. Picked at them both in the all the way homealmost. I thought they were amazing cold!

Classic , old school , small town bakery ... it's the bomb , family owned , forever, and I was going there as a kid and I'm over 65 now lol

Some of the most delicious tasting homemade bread around. Their hotdogs buns are so soft and fluffy. Their cookies, croissants and sandwiches are also amazing. Cash only, so make sure you have some on hand as it is totally worth it. They are open post COVID-19 shutdown with areas marked out on thto keep social distancing and a basket to pass money back and forth, so no touching of hands when checking out.

Moss Rose has THE BEST loaf of French bread. They also have really good donuts. They recently got new chairs and it's very cute inside!
