I loved my entire stay, the room was clean the maids where very nice. Jimmy at the front desk was very nice , polite, and very helpful. Jimmy helped me save money with being a member of motel 6, and he even helped me carry my stuff up to my room. I loved there pet friendliness and there accommodations for them , my only complaint is that the pet area is too close to the road. Everything else was just wonderful, I will be back. Keep up all the good work guys !!
CHECK-IN: Efficient. For the area, we thought the price was quite good and decided to stay two nights did not realize that the second night was going to cost $60 more ROOM: We were given a room on the first floor of 2 floors. The room was good.. Very basic. Clean. Spacious. IN-ROOM EXTRAS: None. No Clock, no microwave, no in-room coffee, no mini fridge, no soap or shampoos. POOL: No TUB: Good. BED: 2 pillows per bed. We did have a good, quiet sleep until about 4am when constant thumping banging scraping thudding noises were happening in the room above ours for about 2 hours. It was so bad that I would not stay in that room a second night as the people above our room were staying that night so we were moved to a different room in another part of the motel. This second room wasn't as spacious, and the A/C was an older model but at least the second night was quiet. BREAKFAST: NO VERY good! PRICE: on a Thursday in Sept 2022 including taxes for 2 adults, 2 beds: about $90 on a Friday in Sept 2022 including taxes the same room was about $150
Our stay was very enjoyable. They are very accommodating..my one and only complaint is, the floors were absolutely disgusting. After 10 min of my boys walking around with no shoes, their feet were black. We were staying for 5 days, so I went to the $ store, bought a broom and mop and cleaned them. Other than that, rooms were nice, seem updated. Occasionally a shady character came through, otherwise lots of friendly out of towners. Great for kids and pets. Has a nice little hot tub, vending, ice. 2 queen room was big and spacious with lots of storage for food, coolers, clothes. Very reasonably priced compared to other motels in the area which are almost double per night. It's great for a day stay, or a few. Highly recommend for the price.
I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My room was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels were nice and clean. I love their pet policy. My only constructive criticism is the floors were pretty dirty but it was otherwise very nice.
Affordable rates and just on the outskirts of Coo Bays. Easy access in and out of location. Pet area is around the corner outside the location and they do provide green space with poop bags and garbage. Friendly staff. King size room had plenty of space with two chair areas. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. I'm a side sleeper so I could feel the bed springs. Some towels had some light staining; bathroom floor mat and one bath towel. Bathroom sink was opposite in that hot was on the right when traditionally it's on the left. There was sand in the corners of the restroom. I love that they don't have carpet thru out the room. Was provided two bath soaps. Laundry facilities on site. Plenty of parking in the lot. Guests are provided tags for their cars but don't believe anyone checks as one night there was a car in the lot with the engine on for warmth for those sleeping inside. Free coffee provided in the office in the AM.
Really bad. No hot water, poorly cleaned, no shampoo/soap/conditioner. Smelled musky. No fridge, pretty much no anything. While it's a relatively minor point to most, the towels and washcloths not folded/placed correctly according to industry standard among other deficiencies that are so easy to fix. Having personally been a housekeeper in a hotel, there's no excuse for this. Room decor generally horrible. Only one small desk in the whole room with 1 chair. Furniture that was there was scratched dirty and chipped. Beds were okay.
The staff are one of the best parts of this place aside from the awesome view of the water! I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room, something is usually missed but my room looked awesome. Met the head housekeeper Ammie and just gotta say she was really sweet! I will definitely stay here again if I ever come through this area in the future.
I hate travelling, and hate trying to find a place that is affordable and still clean. This place was the place! It's Motel 6, it's nothing to go bragging to your mom you stayed there. But, that said, my room was clean- no sign of bed bugs or any nasties. The walls are thin, but most lower priced places are like that. I almost had to ask for a room change because one neighbor was was quite loud for a bit, but they finally passed out or whatever. The view was pretty, even if the road noise was a bit loud. The wifi worked fine, so did the air. Big bonus for us- wheelchair friendly! So many places have too many nooks and ways you can't get around and no space for a chair. But we had no issues getting our chair around, or with the handicapped parking. The staff was friendly, and the price was pretty good for what I got.
Worst hotel stay I've had in 20years. I stayed in one of their suite rooms 261. The good: nice lobby, friendly staff, easy to access from HWY101, room/bedding was clean and the mattress was ok. The bad: Sewage treatment plant behind the motel depending on which way the wind blew, it wasn't "nice". Room smelled like the toilet had backed up, different than the smell from the sewage plant. Telephone was literally installed above the toilet paper. Furniture didn't match the appliances, IE: TV was installed on top of the entertainment center. Flooring wasn't installed properly, lifting around the corners and screws/nails pushing through. No doors on the closet. AC unit cover smashed, but still functioned. Jacuzzi tub spewed brown hot water when filling. Towel racks not conveniently located for shower or tub use. Room so close to HWY that night stand lamps shook when trucks drove past, not to mention the noise. Desk in the room had no AC power outlets handy for business users. Box spring looked like it was from the 70's. Sink water flow was extremely slow, IE almost a minute to fill a cup of water. This was my first Motel6 stay, can't say I'll be back to this one.
Room was great, no issues there. Several times front desk was called about a person being far too loud in their vehicle, which speakers were attached to their phone. The front desk either followed up, and allowed it to continue, or ignored different calls about the issue. Completely unprofessional. Couldn't sleep past midnight due to the noise. Wouldn't recommended this place for sleep, but the water pressure is great. Due to negligence I will not be staying here again.
