This company should be shut down. My husband was the ONLY person who consistently did his job and showed up when scheduled. He reported his supervisor for not doing her job and less than 24hrs later they were trying to fire him. They have no protocols to protect employees from retaliation, intimidation, or hostile work environment, in which they all are doing to him, from the HSS to affiliate director. So who do you report to the C.O.O.? They do not tell you about the clients, you figure it out as you go which is not safe for the clients. The bosses WILL try to intimidate you. One even deals drugs out of the houses! The other takes so many pain pills she's late. List goes on and on. RUN.... Do not work here or put your loved ones here, unless you don't care about them.
Terrible place Kari has a mess on her hands when it comes to staff and she works her staff like slaves!! 12-24 hour shifts 5-7 days a week won't work with you to take off the days you told her you can't work ahead of time. She will tell you she will work around your schedule so you hear what you want to then lie and say you no called no showed. Sorry nope told you 3+ plus times
Perfect place to put your family if you don't care about them if you want to guarantee they're neglected and mistreated! Take it from a former Mount Hope employee they'll let your loved ones live in houses with black mold, bed bugs, roaches, ants, etc. I've seen it all! I would NEVER recommend applying here to my worst enemy. If you work at Mount Hope your overworked, underpaid, disrespected, and under appreciated!
I’ve been with this company for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s my favorite job I’ve ever had. I love knowing I’m making a difference and I always feel appreciated. I get along with all my coworkers too. I absolutely love my residents. They say to not get close with them, but if you’re not, you’re doing it wrong. It’s impossoble not to with this field of work. The company has always treated me fairly and met my needs and my questions are always answered. It’s like my second home.
I started in April moving from another company. The love and compassion the staff shows to residents is amazing. I started working in this field to find a place that treats employees and residents with top tier respect. I like how the excellent management noticed my potential and work ethics giving me a raise shortly after starting. The residents are also a joy to be with my shifts are more like having an afternoon with family.
1. Love the staff. They are courteous and helpful. 2. The food is great. Well planned menus and good selections at grocery stores are the key. 3. I like my room very much. It is large enough for all my belongings and being able to move around and work on my computer. 4. Coming at the end of February I will have been here for 4 years.
Worst company I have ever dealt with as far as jobs go. Said they had a full time spot for me and they were getting my schedule ready. 2-3 weeks later still no job. I did everything I was suppose to including going to MedExpress 100 times for the tb tests. Yet, still NOTHING!!! I really just dont appreciate my time and energy being absolutely wasted. Its typically "another day, another dollar". However, in this case its another day, another dollar lost.
I LOVE it here!! The staff is great help to me, especially our Team Leader, Mandy She has helped me out so much, she has me now going on outings by myself, she has helped me regain my independence back by me being able to go on appointments on my own of course she's been going with me to show me how I'm to do things, she's worked and still continues to work with me on one handed sign language, also she is currently working on getting me a new electric wheelchair thru my doctor so I can go to some places, Mandy has also helped me regain my trust back and has been working with me with when I struggle to find out what I'm trying to say or just anything I'm struggling with she's right there telling me that she's not giving up on me and she sticks with me until the problem is fixed the meals here are just great! I love having the opportunity to help out with prepping dinner when I can I been here in House 4 for almost 2 years and I struggled alil with my rent and things but I'm having help with getting that figured out rather than ME trying to fix that problem on my own....all in all I could not ask for a better place to call home
I worked for Mt. Hope for app. 6 months. Loved the client. The running of Mt. Hope by the supervisory staff was abhorent, at best. No one knew what the other was doing. Nothing explained to new hires. Not how to clock in, other staff made schedules to meet their needs. Not done by supervisors in charge. Very poorly run. I felt bad leaving my client. But, I could not ruin my good reputation working there.
I’ve worked at mount hope home care for 6 months. I’ve always enjoyed working with the elderly and I’m glad I’m able to do it as my profession. I like that I can learn something new from each of my clients and listening about their childhoods. I like the staff that I work with and each of the clients that I meet.
