We camped there. Great weekend. We had my mom, friend, the kids, and grandkids up. Felt comfortable. Did not feel watched, over bearing mgmt rules nor over charged. Just enough to do. Great experience. "Without" paying for the amenities that other campgrounds offer to raise your price to unaffordable and overbearing atmospher.Hotel highlightsQuiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
Wonderful campground. The new owner is greatly improving the place. The showers are clean and renovated. The community area is also newly renovated and inviting. It was a nice place to camp for the week as we hiked the Finger Lakes trail.Rooms: 5/5
We rented an rv. It’s was clean but not deep cleaned. The bathroom wasn’t clean, and the beds had leaves and debris on them. The showers in the main building with the store, the door knobs were broken so no privacy. The people working and other campers were very friendly!! My child cut their ankle on the gate to the pool and it has left a scar. I hope someone fixes it!
Amazing camp site, friendly staff, on point above and beyond customer service. Would recommend and will be a patron for many years to come.Rooms: 5/5
Great camping grounds...new to the grounds but am in the process of fixing up the site to our likings..so far so good.Location: 5/5
We are excited to announce that after over 40 years of ownership the original developer of Mountain Meadows Meadows has sold and as the new owners we are in high gear getting the awesome campground in shape! We have reviewed the comments of past experiences and hope to address many of the issues/concerns. We can't make everything perfect over night but if you are considering camping with us this year please know that Mountain Meadows is getting better by the minute.
This will be our first year as seasonal.. So excited New owner new upgrades etc.
The website seemed promising, I entered everything asked for the reservations online, I also wrote "prefer wooded area". We drove the hour there, there was a very nice woman who greeted us but says we are at a site on the lake, she then looks at our camper and says " but it's mainly a tent site with water running threw it". Really? I informed her I filled everything out when we reserved, she says "oh, the lady doing reservations really doesn't know what she's doing". Great...can we have a wooded site cuz I'm not putting my trailer on a site with water running threw it. She had us follow a very nice man to 2 sites left in the wooded area. They were the smallest, most overgrown sites I've ever seen. It was terrible trying to get the trailer in, the road is narrow with drainage ditches on both sides and the driveway to the site was very narrow. Once in and all set up, we were not able to enjoy our site at all, the grass was too tall for us and our small dog. I definitely will not go back, it's unfortunate because their camp ground has great potential.
Beautiful place. Wasn't there to camp.
Overpriced, caters to seasonal campers and it looks like they do what ever they want. The management here is not enforcing their own rules. Some of the seasonal sites in the woods are very well kept but most the lakeside sites are unkept with junk piles littering most. I am still wondering where all the gray and black water goes for the seasonal campers. They have no sewer connections here. Looks like most just spill their gray to the ground. Hopefully a service comes around to drain their black. Still looking for the large daily campsites. Leaving tomorrow and we’ll never return. Heading back to the state parks where you get more than you pay for here.
