This review is deviated to Mickey lactation consultant in labor and delivery. She is absolutely amazing. This woman helped me feel safe and secure through my entire recovery journey. She didn’t just help with lactation but made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire stay. You can tell she loves her job and she interacts with everyone so well. My brother had his baby here as well after my recommendation to see her. They even planned the C-section to fit Mickey’s schedule. He stated after she gave them a tour of the facility and explained what to expect, he knew he would be in good hands. Mickey has inspired me to become a labor and delivery nurse and I hope to become apart of the Mountain View family and be able to work beside her.
I've NEVER experienced better care! From checking in, to Surgery, to post-surgery care, every professional was so friendly and caring. I wasn't a number, I was a patient- and they took care of me and my family while I was there. The Nurses and CNA's were extremely kind and always made sure I was comfortable. And I never expected the food to be as good as it was! Every meal was made to order and delivered hot! I have nothing but praises for the staff and members of Mountain View Hospital. I hope it's a long time until I need a hospital stay again, but when I do I hope it will be Mountain View!
The maternity ward was fantastic! Everyone was so polite and caring to our needs and requests. Our nurses Jordan and Melissa were constantly going above and beyond With their care and knowledge. And made us feel so at ease. The food was incredible as well im very pleased with our choice of delivery.
I had a pretty intense internal surgery to remove a tumor. From start to finish the staff was super kind and caring. Genuinely looking out after all of my needs. And the have a good café to order your food made to order anytime with lots of healthy options. I am very pleased with their operation and quality of care.
The maternity ward was AMAZING, best hospital experience I've ever had. The nurses were so sweet and supportive and Dr. Pamela Denson was wonderful! If/when we have another baby we're coming back here.
I feel like post people who leave reviews tend to highlight the negative so I had to share my positive experience. I delivered our sweet baby boy July 29th 2022, and we had the best care team! My dr Jason Gundersen was stellar has a c-section and our anesthesiologist John F. was AMAZING. I’ve never experienced such great “bedside manner”. I felt safe, taken care of, and knew I was in good hands. I was looked at in the eyes and reassured everything was going to okay! It was so nice to hear and have that support. I also had stellar nurses, from the time of admission to checkout. To name a few Kara, Jill, and Madi were hands down the best nurses. I know I am forgetting a couple but wow just amazing. Giving birth can be scary but when you are surrounded by great staff that help it goes a long way for recovery. So grateful for the team that helped me! Also, the food service was fantastic. Most would think hospital food would be gross but it was great! Had a wonderful experience.
Wonderful smaller hospital. Doctor owned, so they are very invested rather than corporate driven. Excellent facilities, excellent services, excellent Doctors and nurses and other staff. Less expensive than the large hospital a block away too! Highly recommend you try them.
Me and my mother went to this hospital like we always do if we have a major problem. We have been treated good in the past but today was not that at all. A nurse by the name of BO was very unfriendly and very rude. He had attitude the whole time and told my mom “quite down your in pain you’re not going to die”. Very unprofessional person and he got worked up fast and told us we could leave and go somewhere else if we don’t like how he does things. This kid should be working at a fast food not in a hospital dealing with sick and emotional people. If you can’t handle dealing with upset or sick people you need to find a different line of work not in a hospital where you are suppose to help people. I will not be letting this go I will be reporting him online for his behavior.
My husband went to mountain view last night 12/1/22. He had to go there due to no exray tect at redi care. Our insurances forces us to use mountain view. Not one person offered him help as he is trying to get into to hospital and check in. His leg is broken and they were making him walk all over. I tell you this is visit #2 for our family in the last 3 months and Mountain view didn't even come close to meeting our needs. They use to be our choice of hospital but the service has decreased drastically in the last year. My daughter had a baby in September there and it was also horrible.
Amazing experience in the ER and post-ER orthopedic surgery. I've never experienced or seen such a caring and professional medical team working so well together. I'm so glad I chose Mountain View Hospital.
