Always been treated with respect when visiting and wonderful staff. I admire the fact that Thomas is a NP and not a MD and therefore if he feels a case is complex and more than what he feels comfortable treating them he honestly admit that and recommend elsewhere. I've always received the care and treatment needed and in a timely fashion. Never have to wait long to be seen. I would highly recommend.
I have never been to a more compassionate and personable Doctor / Staff in my life. I think it admirable that they would admit that a patient's case or condition is too complex, and they don't feel comfortable treating them. I'm a fairly complex person and they have done a fantastic job with me!! When trying to get in to see my primary physician in the past, I could never get in touch with their office, could never get an appointment, never get a callback, etc..., to the point that I would just give up trying. The staff at Mountaineer Med. are VERY easily reached and always answer or return calls, and they always get you in very quickly should you need to see Dr Church. Their prices are very fair and the insurance and paper work is completely smooth seamless. I send everyone I can to them, and I would give them 10 stars if I could! If you need brain surgery go to a brain surgeon. If you need to be seen for common health issues, I can't think of a better place!
Thomas church is a very nice and professional dr. I’ve seen him for years. The staff always returns my calls promptly. And I never have to set in the waiting room forever like some offices.
I have never interacted with such an unprofessional medical office. I referred two individuals to Mountaineer Medical. Both needed to establish aprimary care physician in Boone. Both had difficult medical histories and had not seen a PC physician in several months. After spending less than an hour in the office, both were told the Doctor did not want to take them on as patients because they were "too difficult and complex" cases. In the past I had referred several others to these services. After experiencing this office first hand, I would not recommend that anyone seek medical or other treatment from them. Particularly in light of the fact that the Doctor feels he cannot handle challenging medical cases. In addition, this medical office does not provide reasonable accomodation for those with disabilities.
I have always had a good experience with them. They all seem to care about their patients but I can only speak for myself but I can honestly say my daughter has also went there and she seemed to like it. She sure never said otherwise.
Never been so upset and angry how I've been treated bye this office staff! I got an appointment thru tha doctor I was going to at tha time... Couldn't afford tha cost at tha doctor was seeing! They Didnt have their information correct I was called a lier tha woman said I was screaming at her... Which I wasn't ! She wouldn't listen to nothing I was saying... I know how many pills I take n a day... Why lie! Its on paper every where... Couldnt lie! She was very rude and had others n tha back ground as if she had on speaker phone! Now the doctor said I couldn't even come to tha office since his rude and disrespectful not knowing what is going on receptionist told him I was rude to her! Funny thing I have tha whole conversation on tape when I called her back I started taping! Going to a lawyer N tha better business bureau with our conversation n see what they think n if I was n tha wrong!
Thomas has been helping me since 2011. Locations have changed since then, but that is it. Always have treated me very well and act in a very professional manner. I recommend you call in today!
The staff at MMS is outstanding. Treat their patients with dignity and respect. 10 out of 10.
The best care around. Great Dr. Nice and curtious staff.
