Mountainview Family Practice

I became a medical assistant 25 years ago, and my biggest complaint with provider offices is that they do not do things the way I was trained to, years ago. The personalism between staff and providers seems to have been lost to an assembly line type of feel now a days. Mountain View Family Practice is old school to me, they do their very best to make each and every patient feel like family and that they, as an individual, matter. My husband and I both have different providers at this office and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personal relationship with their medical provider and staff.

I love my primary Laura. Marburger, she always has a great attitude,and is truly the best NP I have ever had. She listens to my concerns,and make sure my needs are met.Referrals always take less time. Laura you deserve more than 5 stars.Also The ladies at the front desk are kind,Check-ins areca breeze.The medical Assistants are great.

I've been with MVFP for about 20 years. No practice is perfect, and staff come and go, but I can say, currently the FNP's I have seen are compassionate, professional, and thorough. Thank you!

I highly recommend Mountainview family practice. The doctors, medical staff, office staff and everyone in between are helpful, professional and compassionate to everyone. I feel that they strive to treat the client in its entirety, giving the importance in educating in all aspects of living, treatment, health, medicine and prevention, while staying current in the advancements of medical theory and practice. There is a feeling of partnership I have with my medical practitioner, Dr. Richard Williams, in that he encourages conversations and questions and most importantly that we decide together the actions, journey, and hopeful completion of medical intervention in my life. He has been my doctor for nearly 18 years and I hope he never retires! Truly, the people who work at Mountianview Family practice are like family and treat others like family. I am very grateful for them and for the work they have done and continue to do in this community!

I had a very negative experience as a new patient with Laura Marburger, FNP. Lost paperwork, unprofessional and difficult to work with, made excuses about having too many patients. If you are looking for care, look elsewhere.

Laura is great .staff is friendly. I love having a doctor that listens to what I have to say.

This place sucks! Talk about lazy. I do NOT recommend Rachel Vanderwhal. It’s like she’s deaf or something, her entire team is incompetent. They send prescriptions without Dr signatures, they send referrals without Dr. signatures. I’ve had test results in for a week that she never looked at so when I asked someone to call me and explain them to me they used my emergency contact number not my phone number, and they even waited until the answer service was picking up their calls to do it so I had absolutely no way of calling back! Why on earth would anyone with half a mind even do that?? Getting a new Dr ASAP, this place is ridiculous

After 20+ years with Dr. Powell and Mountain View, I am honestly surprised by some of the negative remarks posted here. I have always been treated with respect and friendly staff. I have never waited long for very long. Dr. always listened with compassion and wonderful advice. Maybe with Grants Pass growing so quickly they are much busier than usual and we all have off days. Lani always gets to me quickly on the phone and addresses everything I need efficiently. I would recommend my Doctor and practice to anyone. With all the frustration of running such a large practice, those people do one hell of a job.
