We were coming through Oshkosh on our way home from further up north and we were hungry. We looked at the menu from Cinders online. It looked good, so we stopped. Very cute place with small charcoal grills for light fixtures over the tables. Our server was efficient and friendly. Our sandwiches were to die for. My husband had the rib eye steak sandwich, that was so big it hung considerably over the bun. He said it was excellent! I had the Harley burger, which was stacked so high with sliced prime rib I could hardly get it in my mouth. It, too, was excellent. Each sandwich had an abundance of fries served with it. We were so stuffed we passed on dessert, which is unusual. Whenever we're back in Oshkosh we'll be sure to go back to Cinders!
Food was pretty good with the addition of salt to my steak sandwich. Price seemed pretty high compared to most other places when you substitute mushrooms for the fries.Food: 5/5
As soon as you walk in the smells are incredible. Everything was delicious lots of food for the price. I haven't enjoyed a meal that much in ages. The service was perfection!
Went here at the suggestion of a friend and his wife. Right off the bat, the friendliness hits you. I plan to go back again. Had the Steak Sandwich, OMG fantastic. Had their homemade carrot cake. A slice of heaven to be sure. The young man that waited on us was fantastic. Well worth the near 3 hour drive.
I had the All You Can Eat Whitefish for 14.99.. The waitress was awesome and she said the fish is double breaded.. Fantastic, I highly recommend this place it!!Food: 5/5
Me and my brother stopped in for dinner. We both had the ribeye sandwich. The flavor was excellent mine I had with onion and mayo. With fries side order. The fries are all you can eat. The ribeye is well worth the trip.
We've really enjoyed coming here since management changed. Overall the quality of food and service are improved. This place is now back in our rotation of go to places.Food: 5/5
The burgers were good but they forgot our drinks with our order and also some toppings that were customized to be on the burger. It was our first time there, and overall wasn't too impressed. Not sure if we would go again.
Overall, it was a good experience. The prices are good as well as the portions. There are lots of options, and I appreciate having a choice of gluten-free buns. I wouldn't say the best food in town but definitely better than fast food and much nicer environment. I would definitely go back.Food: 4/5
My tenderloin filet was super thin, and cold when I received it. I let the waiter know right away. He took it back and the kitchen staff put it in a microwave to warm it instead of putting it on the grill. So my once was medium rare steak was now a well done steak. I'm glad the dinner roll was big enough to put the steak on it for a sandwich. I guess I should have ordered that in the first place. I do not recommend this has been restaurant.
