Mr. Electrician

Called to discuss getting power to my recently built outbuilding. Jeff was very knowledgeable and to the point over the phone - essentially giving me a rough estimate of 1800-2500 for the job but explaining that in order to get a firm estimate - someone would need to come out and take a look. The estimate would cost 200, which would be applied to the job cost if I decided to go with their job estimate. After getting some other quotes that landed around that 1800-2500 ballpark, I decided that I would like for Meehan to the do the work because he left me with a great first impression over the phone. I requested the 200 estimate under the impression that it would fall around the same ballpark as the other estimates. I was surprised to receive an estimate for 4250 for the job. I called Jeff to sort out the 1500 dollar discrepancy and he was cordial and followed up with his estimator for clarification - they told me the cost of the cable went from 4-5$ a foot to nearly 12$... I've checked around and can't seem to verify that claim, but no use crying over spilt milk. I don't know what to make of it all, but it feels like I wasted my money.

My mother lost power late Thursday afternoon; by 8pm ish, Rayle EMC finally let us know the breaker main was shot it was 42 years old. Started calling electricians at 7am Friday; Jeff Meehan was the first to call me letting me know he could most likely help us, as my mother lives in a mobile home and multiple electricians turned down the work. Meehan was out at the house after a small job they were working on, stayed approximately 10 hours to get my mom and her parrot back in power and in the cool air. We even left the house to ride around to get in the cold a/c without issue. So far everything looks great. I highly recommend Meehan for your residential needs. Don't waste time calling the others; call Meehan Electrical Services first!

I had partial electrical power in my house. I called Meehan Electrical. I talked with Mr. Meehan and explained my problem. He took the time to suggested things that I could try to troubleshoot the problem. He indicated that the problem could also be something my electric company should take a look at first and he explained why. It turned out to be something my electric company could repair at no cost to me. That was very nice of him to suggest that to me. I thank God for Mr Meehan and for the excellent advice he gave. Jeff was phenomenal! I called him while he was busy with another client. He called me back just like he said he would and freaking fixed my electrical issue over the phone! I mean that is what's up! He could have easily taken me for at least a service call but he didn't he simply asked me a few simple questions and told me about a button in the middle of my outlet that needed to be reset. Boom problem fixed! I never would have known the difference if someone came out here and plugged around for an hour or so pretending to do all this work or sold me a whole new set of outlets for my kitchen. What an honest straight up guy. If I ever need an electrician in the future I will not hesitate to call this wonderful gentleman. Stay way from those corporate jokers like Mr. Sparky. They would have cost me $80 just to tell me what Jeff told me for nothing, and that was just for a service call no work performed. It is so nice to meet someone that isn't trying to screw you over when most people that need service are already down on their luck. Thank you Jeff

This afternoon I called Meehan Electrical Services to get an estimate for a service call to my home. Jeff Meehan answered the phone and I described the problem, two electrical outlets that had suddenly stopped working. Jeff listened to me carefully, asked several questions, and then he was able to troubleshoot my problem over the phone. I don't know anything about electrical matters and I was nervous about even approaching the breaker box, but Jeff was patient and he took the time to explain everything to me as he went. I followed his suggestions, and the outlets are working fine now. I will definitely use Meehan Electrical Services for any electrical matters in the future. I am pleased and so grateful to God for the blessing I received today through Jeff Meehan.

After an early misunderstanding, all of our issues were resolved. Jeff Meehan takes great pride in his reputation and customer service record. I was very impressed with his drive to make things right and will happily recommend him to anyone. You cannot expect everything to be perfect every time, but genuine concern with customer satisfaction is a rare thing these days and should be celebrated.

Jeff and his crew are top notch professional electricians. Meehan Electrical showed up within a day of me calling and stayed on the job until it was completed.
