Mt. Pleasant Big Boy

Iced tea tasted "old". Either over-brewing, lousy leaves, or a dirty pot causes that funky taste, but fresh brewed tea should not taste like that. I ordered the fish and chips $9.45 and received two very small cod fillets, a warm cup of coleslaw, and fries. The quality and quantity certainly wasn't worth the price. I often eat at the Chinese buffet in town where for the same price I can get a lot of delicious food. I chose to go to a different place to change it up a little. My mistake. Consider me educated.

Ordered big boy to go from door dash and I added a note with my order to add a side of cottage cheese, but when I got it. The cottage cheese was ALL just the liquid from a cottage cheese container... yum.... thanks for paying attention to what u serve your customers... not.

We were very disappointed with the salad bar it was not being kept up with fresh food and we had to ask for bowls for the soup. Service was very slow but we could understand they had a new waitress and she was great as she could be.the cook staff had tank tops on in concerned us with the quality of food that someone with a tank top with exposed armpits could do in a kitchen. It was definitely not a big boy uniform or even a normal shirt someone should be wearing when cooking. The food tasted like normal big boy food.

Went in for dinner a little later than normal. My service and food was great. Food came out really fast and it was delicious. The waiter Chris was very friendly and polite. The manager Kyle even came and made sure things were perfect for us. Everyone was very polite, friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Came in for dinner today with my wife and daughter.I could tell it was a off night because the service was very slow.I overheard that it was alot of the employees first night so that could have been the issue. Our server was very nice but forgot parts of our order. But let me repeat he was a very nice server and was very apologetic about the whole situation I could tell he was overwhelmed. Other then that the food was good. Although paying $10 dollars for 2 tiny pieces of fish for an adult fish dinner seems a little high. But other then that the food was good.

Horrible experience. Terrible service. Long wait time and 8+ tables were unclean and empty. Floor was disgusting!! Bathroom was horrible. So gross. We opted for the breakfast bar which was so disappointing. Barely any food on it and they charged $12.99 for it! There was 4 pieces of dried up, moldy fruit, no biscuits, no bacon, a spoonful of eggs, one waffle, abd it took forever to get it filled. My family and I will never go back.

The service from the waitress was amazing and our waitress was attentive to what we needed. Low ratings were because the food was not good at all. The burgers were dry and tasteless. The clam strips were undercooked. The shakes were good and the fries were also decent however it cost us $75 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat and when we left we stopped at McDonalds to get a few burgers because the food was that bad. Would not reccomend the food. I was extremely impressed with the waitresses though.

Went during the week for the burger bar. The salad bar was stocked with a nice variety of choices. I was disappointed in the burger and soup bar. The patties were luke warm and more than half of the condiments were empty. The soup, which is usually good, looked like it had been sitting for hours with no attention and didn't look appetizing at all. The service, as usual, was very good.

A fond memory of a brand is about all this place has going for it. The food is mediocre at best, cleanliness is wanting and the service is lack-luster. The salad bar is a joke, especially compared to a place like Ruby Tuesday. My best guess is that there is virtually no engagement on behalf of management and they are riding a wave of people's fond memories of what used to be a solid American restaurant chain.

My husband and I went there this morning, and the customer service was horrible! I’ve never had an experience like that at this store. We stood there behind another man and there was two separate people waiting to cash out. Both servers were over talking among themselves. Mind you we were not created at all the male server walked right past all of us ignoring that we were there. Not saying one of us will be right with you, or hi it will be a few. He ignored us! The older man waiting to pay had been there before we came in he said they make you wait longer to pay than to be seated. My husband and I left and went to ihop because were always satisfied with our service and treated as soon as we come in the door.
