I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were all very nice and the food was exceptional. The miso soup was very good, the edamame was amazing, the ginger salad was ok, although it could use a little less spinach and a little more ginger dressing. The salad could also be a little bit smaller in portion size. The sushi was the best part of the meal. It was very flavorful and savory. Definitely coming back again.
My bf and moved here recently and decided to stop her for dinner. At first it wasn’t what we expected. The sign outside said sushi, steaks, and seafood, but it was actually a Japanese restaurant. We were fine with that we love Japanese anyway and they did offer all of that just cooked differently than what we pictured . I got the shrimp my bf got sushi’s rolls and salmon. My shrimp where amazing. Seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. We also had the vegetable tempera and it was really good as well. Service was great, nice atmosphere. I’m sure we will be back for the shrimp my bf was a little jealous over my plate
Although pricey, the food here is spectacular. The tempura fried shrimp is superb, the filet mignon is outstanding, and the atmosphere here is fantastic as well. They also have separate rooms if you want to dine Japanese style.
The sushi was good but I think this place was overpriced and underwhelming. The service was good, the selections weren't extensive and the ambiance wasn't really existent. I'm glad I went to the restrooms after dinner otherwise I don't know that I would've stayed. Three stalls, one out of order and had overflowed throughout the other 2. Not great. I'm glad I went but I probably won't go back.
Great atmosphere and service!! I sat at the bar which has full service and meal options. The bar tender was quick to notice and help us. Enjoyed some delicious hot sake and will definitely be returning for some more! Loved the seating settup including private party rooms with traditional Oriental seating and slidding paper wall dividers that make it feel like you have your own restaurant.
Went here for the Raleigh restaurant week lunch for $15 and the 3 course meal was worth it. Started with mini Korean shrimp tacos with Kim chi and avocado, followed by an entree of miso grouper with wok seared veggies and rice cake and finally green tea cheesecake with chocolate and caramel. Everything was awesome including our waiter........did I say it was worth it!........will definitely go back.......
I love it here. The ambience is suitable for romantic dates or even a first date. The menu was recently changed and I personally don't think it's an improvement as compared to the previous one that allowed the customer to customize various dishes. All in all, still a great Japanese steak house with a vibrant selection of sweet sakes, which I love.
Although I had a amazing experience eating at Mura... I believe my entree meal wasn't something I expected. I requested for my tofu to be fried hard but didn't get exactly what I was hoping for. Maybe I will try another entree if I come back anytime soon but I will admit that the sushi is something to die for. They have an extensive and very interesting sushi menu to try and I completely enjoy the art that the cooks will add to your plate. Highly recommendable to anyone in the area.
I was not aware of this restaurant until recently. I definitely like this place. Very good food, nice setting in North Hills. They also have a very good variety of drink selections. The menu is diverse and you can customize it a bit. I definitely recommend
Sushi is the real thing here. Well done on the style and craft. The menu is straight forward on the different dishes. The chop sticks are cut right on the ends to pick up sushi rolls well which is something most don't see often. Everything tastes great and love the hours.
