Murdy Community Center, or more commonly referred to as Murdy Park, provides the community with a vast range of recreation opportunities and programs. Established and dedicated in 1971, Murdy Park is home to the very first Community Center built in Huntington Beach. With a group picnic shelter and barbecues, four lighted tennis courts, two lighted softball fields, four lighted basketball courts, a skate park, and a jungle gym, Murdy Park offers many opportunities for recreational activities.
Programs include everything from sports and fitness, to art and even preschool. Murdy Park also organizes special events throughout the year, including two of Huntington Beach’s most popular events, Easter Hunt, Family Fun Day and the Overnight Family Campout!
