The Rochester Twilight Criterium is back for 2016! With a downtown circuit, you are up close to the action and you won't want to miss a minute of it.
This is a FREE world class national cycling event to be held right here in Rochester. It's a sanctioned USA Cycling race, on their Professional Road Tour (PRT). As such, it's one of only 17 crits in the United States at the highest national level, and the only PRT event in the United States this particular weekend.
Last year over 20,000 spectators came out to watch the action in downtown Rochester. It's a unique opportunity to be just steps away from professional cyclists and former Olympians, as well as local amateurs. People liken a crit to Nascar on two wheels. You can’t get any closer to a cyclist speeding by at more than 35 mph!
There will also be a beer garden, food trucks and more for spectators to ensure they don't go thirsty or hungry while on the course watching the action.
