This was my first appointment ever at Myeyedr. I checked in with no issues and had my exam with no issues. When I went to select glasses I was approached by one of the ladies in the waiting area who stated what my insurance covered. She stated that because I had a petite face that she recommended a specific brand. As she is talking to me, we are interrupted by a male worker who procedes to mention across the room how short I was next to his coworker. I did not say anything and ignored his comment. I selected a pair of glasses and went to sit down, when the female who is helping me makes the comment that if I wanted I can also take a look at the kids glasses. I asked what the price was for everything and she mentions the amount, which in my opinion was over priced. She then asked if I wanted I could take a script. I told her I would and as she walks over to get the script I hear her and the male coworker discussing on my decision to take the script instead. I took the script and paid my copay and left. As a customer I believe that I should be treated with respect, kindness and walk out of a business feeling valued. These 2 employees did just the opposite. Myeyedr in Bartow should do a better job at training their employees on being more respectful towards customers. Clearly these 2 employees are lacking in that area.

The doctors are fantastic, but the individuals who schedule appointments are terrible: I had to ask for an appointment almost two weeks in advance as I'm only available one day a week for an appointment. The day of I never receive a notification, a call, etc. so I had to call to know if I was still booked. Come to find out they scheduled me a week and a half earlier on a day I specifically told them I was not available and now would have to wait ANOTHER week for an appointment. The fact I need a new prescription pair of contacts due to the ones given not being suitable is important and this is unacceptable.

Very unprofessional! Canceled my girls eye appointment without notifying me. The receptionist excuse was that their appointments were not confirmed so they canceled them. I didn’t receive a call or text message and I drove all the way from Kissimmee just to be told this. Mind you these appointments already took me forever to get because they never have anything available for months and my kids really needed their glasses for school. If I could give them a -5 star review I would.

I called in early July to schedule an appointment for both of my kids to have their eye exams on the same day. They couldn’t see them both until the end of July. Fast forward two days before their appointment I get a text message request for each child to confirm their appointment which I did AND received a confirmation text for each child. The day before their appointment I got a call and voicemail they needed verbal confirmation my daughter was coming which I found odd seeing as how I already confirmed her appointment but I called back, numerous times, only ever reaching a voicemail. I left a message that same day confirming she would be there. The next day their dad shows up to the appointment with them both and the receptionist starts off by saying my daughter’s appointment was cleared out of the system! She then goes on to say “we’ve been trying to contact you several times…” and their dad knew that was not true and also knew her appointment had been confirmed and knew I had called and left a message the day before. They were not at all helpful and considering we had already waited almost a month for the appointment we will NOT be going back. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time.

So the Dr prescribed me the wrong script. I told the front staff this " we will get it fixed". They didn't, and ordered the wrong contacts. When I called to get it fixed the ignorant girls at the front argued with me about it. In short the Drs and staff are incompetent, argumentative, and arrogant. I cannot give less than one star other wise I would

Do not book appointments here. Did not appreciate that I explained to the receptionist I had an emergency and was only 5 mins late. I had an appointment at 12:30pm got the at 12:35pm and the receptionist told me she would see if the Dr can see my son. Came back and said no because I was late. She said they just had a 5 min grace period and that the Dr had an appt. Between the talking and everything with the receptionist it was 12:39 and I asked to speak to the supervisor and nothing was resolved just to reschedule. What I can’t believe is that if you have an emergency and live far to come to an appointment why is there no exceptions? Most Dr office have 15 mins grace period. Will never come to this office again.

Sunny is the kindest soul and helped me pick out amazing glasses! Not only that but the doctor was amazing as well! 1000/10 experience

Really wish I could give Sunny 10 stars ! The amount of professionalism she displayed was very refreshing. Not only that but she was outstanding with my kids and helping find glasses the fit their personalities . I spent $1600 in glasses that I would NOT have spent anywhere else. I have not been to an eye doctor before but my kids and I will be returning here for our routine chec-ups from here on out. Thank you Sunny !!!

Dr Alex was very professional, informative, & quick. The staff was friendly.
