We were established in 1976. We use only the finest ingredients in our handcrafted goods - real butter in all of our non-vegan products and hormone- and pesticide-free dairy. We compost 90% of our waste and are one of the greenest food service businesses in the Bay Area. In the thirty-eight years that we have been open, we have become a neighborhood institution because of our commitment to high quality baked goods, sustainability, alternative business models, and community.
