Authentic Korean food served by Ahjummas. Had tofu soup, pancakes, bulgogi, and cold glass noodles. Tasted authentic and good. Not exactly the best tasting Korean restaurant. The serving is very huge. Cost can be slightly above average for a middle class Korean restaurant.
Very spacious, loud and casual environment. I came to eat at 8pm, 2-3 servers taking care of the order, cleaning and payment. It took roughly 5-8min to get my order and 15 minutes to get my food on the table. Servers were quick and they take initiative to refill your side dishes. Miso soup was a bit blend too diluted, and the spicy pork was all right, I had better ones. Rice was a bit stale and hard. Side dishes as expected not too fresh but they seemed to be outside for a while, but okay.
After all these years of visiting and living in the area, I finally visited this place and order number 18 gal-Bee-Tang. While I waited for it, I enjoyed the delicious ban-chan and tea. The soup was so good too!! Definitely, I’ll be back as much as i can.
Waitress is very friendly. The side dishes were appetizing. Loved the galbi so much. 24 hr service
Staff is friendly and the place is ample. Free parking BUT like everything in LA parking is a hassle because it’s small. I had #25 Mool-Mandu: Steamed Dumplings and my friend had #24: Ra-Bokki. The dumplings came in a soup but the soup was bland....I wish I ordered the fried dumplings. What I do love about Korean restaurants is that they give you lots of little sides before bringing the main dish and they also bring a cold tea which has a subtle taste.
I got "hussled"! Unless you can read Korean..."ask-for-the-price-before-you-order!" $43.00 befor tip? for two...no liquor...is way too much for this meal! This is not "Wolfgang Puck's"...no table cloths...cloth napkins...etc. Skimpy portions...except the beef. It was delicious...truly! But, at 3:00 in the morning I was up! It did not process well! Parking is a nightmare!!! The Spaces aren't marked there wasn't room to get back in my car to leave. The Guard on duty is "usless." He's in costume... I know it's open all hours...but I think you can do better! I would hate this to be your 1st. ever experience with this exquisite quisine!
Korean restaurant in Koreatown. It’s on Olympic and Vermont. Nice location, food and service.
This place is my favorite! Tasty and reasonable. People are kindness.
Incredible good food here. And it’s open 24hrs, that means you can come anytime especially when you have no place to go in the midnight. The waitresses are super friendly. The Korean appetizers are very delicious. The price is very reasonable.
The quality of some of the food seems somewhat ridiculous. I wanted chicken soup and got a really big bowl of mostly watery broth, with some glass noodles, bits of egg, really tough to chew spring onions the green part and bits of chicken. It came with the standard Korean sides dishes, which I love but I require far more from my soup, especially at the price of $11.99 or was it $13? I don't recall, which. I do generally like their food but.... Also, I understand that with the price of LA rents being what they are having to raise prices but the food needs to be satisfying to the customer.
