An amazing hidden gem of a museum. We were not expecting it to be so large and extensive for a free museum. Donations are accepted. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. Definitely requires a number of hours to see it all or multiple tripsVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Went to the Green County Farmer's Exchange n the lot across the street from the Museum... Local farmers are there Tuesdays and Fridays. As lways hood local produce that is fresh-picked. One of our favorite farmers wad there: Kahne. She grows a cariety of delicious and nutritious micro-greens. We love the pea shoots and micro-broccoli.
One of the most interesting musuems in Tennessee! I was amazed they had a fully functioning iron lung! They also have an amazing collection of civil war artifacts!
A lot of different rooms and items available to view at this museum! It would take you hours, if not days, to read everything that they describe in this museum. Definitely have to go back as I was limited to the amount of time I could spend there.
Excellent collection of local stories and artifacts that includes a 1787 log home, civil war and emancipation exhibits. Well worth the visit yo the 13 galleries and numerous exhibits.
Some pretty interesting history. Only downfall was not enough history. Greeneville is full of history and the "museum" just didn't do it justice
All of their exhibits are very intriguing. Even the little children loved hearing about the stories!
Great museum with lots of local history. Spend an afternoon poking at our here, and see what you can learn.
Great bit of knowledge crammed into one building! The staff is friendly. Runs on donations!
