"Georgia's Old Capital Museum has relocated to the former Central State Hospital campus in Milledgeville, Georgia. The Museum offices and meeting rooms are in the beautifully remodeled “Just Imagine Cottage.” Our new name, Georgia’s Old Capital Museum at The Depot reflects our goal to renovate the 13,000 square foot historic train depot adjacent to the Cottage for Exhibits, Theater, Community Venue, Depot Diner, and Bookstore/ Gift Shop. The Museum also owns and operates the historic Brown-Stetson-Sanford House in downtown Milledgeville. Tours and rental of this beautiful museum house are available for your next meeting or event. Please contact us for details and reservations."
