To preserve and present the History of Greene County for the generations to come...
"Is to preserve and present the history of Greene County. We try to accomplish this in many ways, one by making yearly calendars documenting events that have happened in the past, and also by collecting old antiques and placing them on display in the museum. One of our tasks has been to sponsor archaeological digs in the county along with many other activities."
