The National Immigration Project provides legal support to immigration attorneys and promotes justice in the criminal system.
Our success is built upon a foundation of nationwide members, including attorneys, law students, judges, jailhouse lawyers, advocates, community organizations, and other individuals seeking to defend and expand the rights of immigrants in the United States.
For over 48 years, the National Immigration Project has promoted justice and equality in all areas of immigration law, the criminal justice system, and in policies related to immigration. We are especially committed to working together with noncitizens who are frequently the most marginalized, including those who have come into contact with the criminal and juvenile justice systems. NIPNLG provides expert legal support to immigration law practitioners, immigrant communities, and noncitizen detainees. We also fight for immigrant rights through litigation, advocacy, and technical assistance. Our work is grounded in a community of progressive immigration law practitioners, funders, individual donors, and supporters like you.
