I'm not sure the process of hiring staff but I really do think it is important to train and educate staff on California privacy laws. Secondly, please take the time to add additional training when it comes to communication, customer service and racial justice. I know esstentially this review will not solve anything. But take the initiative to hire QUALITY individuals.
I brought in a big bag of quarters- turned out to be around 80 bucks… was given the rolls to count myself at the table; sweet amazing Gemma saw me there struggling and she swooped right in and offered to help me count them!! Made the process go 100x faster; then helped me get them into my account!! She is an angel- THANK YOU GEMMA!!!
The staff are always welcoming and helpful. I've had several types of transactions and never had an issue, whether inside or at the drive up atm or at the walk up one.
Been a member since I was probably 10. Eligibility because my father served. Retired Navy Captain. Not if that entitles me to anything. I was depositing a small Dividend check as I have done at least a dozen times. It includes my deceased mothers name. That is on record with nfcu when my father notified them. No problem ever. The teller told me I should take it to b of a as they issued the check. She was dismissive and honestly mean. Told me they would never accept that check. No manager available. Bad teller and would like an explanation from someone at Navy Fed.
I have been having issues with my accounts for a while now. Transactions that I did not authorize but because they read similar to others I had the tellers couldn't help me. In order to file fraud I was told you wait for the response to come back or you go to the IRS website. Needless to say I needed immediate help to stop these transactions from happening. I am not happy with the help I received. I went from a 4k to 400.00 in three days. Keep your id's and receipts friends because if you cant tell the teller how to fix your problem they just see you to the door and have a nice day. Update, they were so helpful and helped me with a cashiers check and replacing my debit card. Thank you for helping with the erroneous charges and getting me back to feeling financially in control again.
Been a week since i was told my money would be released. I have over 400k deposited into navy federal but they won't let me use it. Beware of signing up here because any teller can freeze your account because they're having a bad day. Jelissa was incredibly rude and embarrassing. Now i can't pay my bills or even buy food.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful in directing me to the right service area I need. Devon in particular helped me with a service I didn't know you had which was alerting Navy Federal when I would be out of state or the country.
This Navy Federal has been an incredible location. The staff is friendly and quick at services, the location is conveniently located to lots of shopping and Navy Federal takes their cleanliness and safety very seriously. Even when there is a long line outside they keep the line moving and get everyone's requests done very quickly.
went in yesterday to cash a check and then deposit the cash. I told the teller josh what I wanted to do. he seemed bothered by my request and then questioned if I had something coming out of my account that day and if it was more than my current balance. I told him I did and he cashed the check but then told me he didn't want to get the coins out of his "bag" and asked me if that was alright... I have never had a problem with navy federal or its employees but this guy shouldn't work in customer service.
The customer service in this branch is excellent. The staff is super friendly. Last weekend I went there to change my last name in my account and Cindy helped us very quickly. In just minutes, my name was changed, and I had my new card. Very good job!
