It recently changed to "Blue Peak" but the experience so far has been Horrible. They hold State Checks funds for over 5 days !! Customer service over the phone is none existent RUDE and disrespectful. I am not trying to taint what used to be a great all around place... unfortunately those days are over. What happened? Representatives used to know you.. NOT anymore. No one helps you they don't give a d**n. Been with them over 20 years. Definitely moving All my family accounts from this place.
First of all, I have had an account at USE for 16 years and my family over 40 years. When they closed the original La Mesa credit union thats when things started to go down hill. Instead of opening a professional branch, they opened this joke of a coffee shop looking place with no parking and 1 teller counter. When you ask an employee for help they point you to the indoor ATM's. If I wanted to use the ATM I would go outside. About a month ago I had an issue with my account and called the number on the back of my card. That number doesn't call USE, it calls a call center that services 10+ credit unions and can't help at all with your account. What happened USE? You have made it harder and harder to get things done. This credit union is not supposed to be for profit and for the members, your CFO needs to fix this unless you want to keep loosing members. It looks like the fix is renaming it to BluPeak which sounds like a fly by night investment firm. I have since opened accounts at North Island and guess what? When I walk into the branch the employees actually will help me and it looks like a professional place to do business. Even better is when i call the number on the back of my North Island card, North Island answers! My family has also taken notice in the way BluPeak is going and is slowly moving to other financial institutions.
Customer service is horrible!! I have called 3 times yesterday to talk to someone and not knowing that I'm speaking to a call center not the specialist. She asked too many questions which I gave her the reason for my call and still not able to transfer me to the proper department. I was advised that they will call me back within 1 business day!!. This never happens when Its still USE. I usually get a call that same day or in a few mins. I chose the options to call me back but it seems like I'm still on hold waiting on the phone for someone to pitime time for 2 mins and then became 5-10 mins. I ended up asking for a supervisor which I was told that that the waiting time is 30-45 mins. I still haven't heard back until now. This is frustrating. Poor customer service!!
DON'T go near this place around noon. The two food places sharing the parking lot assume the parking lot is for only their customers and the bank patrons have no right to use any spaces in the parking lot. I parked in a Handicap Space { I have DV plates on my vehicle } near the Chick fil a place and started to walk with a cane to the Credit Union and an employee of that place demanded to know " how long are you gunna be ? ".. I told him my car will be there until I get back...
Closed the Chula Vista branch where I opened up mine and my daughters savings account without so much as a notification or email I walk up to make a transaction and the branch is boarded up. I will definitely be closing my accounts with your bank.
You guys should update your hours online before actually changing the hours of your business so people don't waste time and gas coming to a location that isn't even open.
I'm not happy with this bank know it's to farrway for me they closed a bank in cv they never send a txt or note to me or other customers that the place was closing I can't go all the way to mission valley or LA Masa to far not a good bank. Hate it.
This place acts like they are doing you a real favor letting you visit your money. One teller station open and s/he usually works at a snail pace. And cars jockeying for position at the two drive up fast food joints sharing the parking lot usually screw up traffic flow so I usually park on the street if I can find a space. The security guard/doorperson usually looks like an unmade bed with a rumpled, ill fitting sack of a uniform.
Parkway Drive Location Banking gone horribly wrong. Only two teller stations and no place to really form lines. It's nice however to see they have used our banking fees to fill the place with couches and cozy places to sit and wait And then wait some more.
I love Rhonda! She is incredible at her job. She’s the only person I care to deal with at USE. I have a car loan through them. The guy named David is rude and snarky and I refuse to deal with him. Rhonda is very professional and has never been rude. She gets the job done while working with the customer, not insulting them.
